Stayed one night on a weekend at this hotel. Overall, it is an okay hotel for a short stay. Upon entry the lobby area is very welcoming. Check in was smooth, settled within five minutes, only gave my identity card and paid RM2 for heritage fees. No elevator, good for exercise hehehe. We only bring one small bag, so not a problem. Room is fairly clean, but the carpet has a lot of unpleasant burnt marks maybe? If we step on it, it feels prickly. Thankful for the indoor slippers provided, so we use the slippers all the time. As per other reviews, the room indeed has a bit thin wall. I can hear some noise from the shops around that area, but it is okay. Still can sleep. It is not loud, just that I can feel the bass from music playing. There are still constructions going on nearby but lucky for us we never had the chance to encounter the loud noise hehehe. Weekend maybe? Parking available on the street and near to the hotel. Not sure if have to pay or not, but we didn’t pay (scratch ticket/ apps) luckily did not get any fine. Overall, nice stay. 🥰

We have just checked out from the hotel, housekeeping was bad, we arrived on Wednesday with dirty floors i believed not vacuumed until we requested it to be. Toilet floors were dirty and stained. We ended up wearing the bedroom slipper throughout the entire stay. Welcome drinks were not served as published. Only mineral water and coffee/tea without kettle available in the room (also until it is requested). Day curtains were torn, stained bedsheet and coffee cups were stained as well. It is understandable that it is under construction however it shouldnt disrupt the ambience of the room itself. Pity it is such a beautiful place with beautiful lobby but unkempt rooms.

Stayed here with my family for 3D2N over the long weekend. The hotel itself is charming and overall facilities were good, everything we needed was provided and we had a comfortable stay. However, the check-in experience could be improved. When we arrived, we were told our room was ready, but the cleaners were still inside finishing up. Upon entering, we noticed insects on the bed, which was disappointing and not the best first impression. That said, once settled, the rest of the stay was smooth and pleasant. With better housekeeping checks before handing over the room, this place has the potential to give guests a much better experience.

Stayed 2 nights (10th-12th June 2022).Booked 2 rooms. Late checked in on the 10th around 2330hrs. ||||Reason for choosing this hotel: Only because it's available and match the dates of the impromptu trip)||||1.Rooms' cleanliness - Subpar||||2. Towels provided are not same sizes.||||3.Amenities provided in the rooms are not consistent|| - one room has 02 roning boards(both broken) and 02 iron|| - the other room has none|| - not a single toilet paper in one of the rooms while the other || has a questionable looking toilet roll (ended up getting our || own toilet rolls)||||4. One of the rooms has a broken toilet roll holder and the || sliding door of the shower area is faulty.||||5. Bidet spray is that of a public toilet. Does not even have a || proper bidet head.||||6. We were told there will be a security guard on duty after || midnight but we came back to the hotel @ around 0130hrs to || find a bunch of youngsters sprawling at the sofa in the || lobby. No security guards in sight. ||||7. WIFI - Be prepared to be majorly shortchanged! Hotel || advertised as FREE WIFI as part of the hotel amenities but the || WIFI is almost non existent. Saw many comments from YEARS|| AGO commenting on the extremely bad WIFI connection. || Guess management don't see any importance to the || customers feedbac as it's been years and no improvement!|| Highlighting this to the front desk were only || greeted with a nonchalant/can't be bothered face and a || response " ya...you can come to the lobby and try the lobby || WIFI" Do they seriously expect my parents to climb up and || down the stairs to the lobby at 2 -3am in the morning just so || they can TRY and get better WIFI connection in the lobby||||8. TV channels - I've stayed in not hotels, boutique hotels but a || motel in a more remote area with better TV channels selection || and WIFI connection||||9.Overall experience : Unsatisfactory|| Will I recommend this so called boutique hotel : NO|| Will I return to this so called boutique hotel : NO|| Worth...

The hotel interior is really retro and nice, and the room we've been given is really big despite it being the smallest room in the hotel. However, the experience here has been rather unpleasant.

We checked in 5 hours after the allowed check-in timing and we still had to wait around 10 minutes for housekeeping to finish cleaning our room. The room also reeks of cigarette smoke smell which we couldn't get rid off even when we tried airing out the room. Also, the room we booked came with free parking but there's no reserved parking for hotel guests and it was a public holiday so we had to park at a paid parking area of a nearby building.

We've tried complaining to the front desk but she couldn't offer anything more than free late check-out. She's probably just a employee so it's understandable that she doesn't have much power to give us anything substantial but it's still abit disappointing.

The hotel is really beautiful and in a good area so we do hope the management could fix the issues we've brought up (i.e. proper scheduling of housekeeping duties, reserved parking, etc.) as the hotel has a lot of potential.

Edit: We just checked out a few days ago, and the stay only got more disappointing as we realised that the room was not cleaned thoroughly (i.e. cigarette butt hidden in the desk, towel with holes in it, etc.). However, it does seem like the hotel is very understaffed as we saw one of the staff on deck fulfilling multiple job roles (i.e. receptionist, cleaning staff). We really hope management can do something about this so that the staff can fulfill each individual job scope satisfactorily instead of being...

This hotel was promoting Work From Hotel Package at a very affordable price||However, when I checked in, and went to my room, the internet is not working!||NOT WORKING! or they call it SLOW||Then when i checked with the front desk they say, internet connection problem||||So, I questioned why didn't you call us to inform us about the Wifi problem and when we check in, you didn't say anything but put a small A5 size notice on the reception counter and expect us to read the small print?||||I made a formal complaint and told them i will be back the next evening and told them to FIND A SOLUTION||||To my surprise, they ignored my message and didn't bother||I told them, DO YOU REALISE HOW INTERNET is important to me to work?||They called their manager Ms Wong and she started giving me excuses excuses excuses||||All EXCUSES. So i told her, I don't want excuses, I just want solutions||And I told her, if she cant find solutions, I will tell her a few solutions to act on it...||So I HAVE TO GAVE them solutions instead....||||And she said to me to wait a while and she will call back||I waited for about 15min and got fedup and took my laptop to go out and find a spot to work for the nite!||||Before I walk out, i told them I WANT A FULL REFUND||||I told the frontdesk again upon checking out that I wanted a FULL REFUND cos I felt cheated!||||I REALLY FELT CHEATED!||||The very next day, I called the number and the same Ms Wong answered and she said she will call back and get back to me....but it has been a WEEK and there is no sign of them!||||I REALLY FELT CHEATED...
