My son wanted to experience the trending glamping stay. I booked a night stay here for RM210.00, which is a couple tent. My son brought his own sleeping bag to sleep in. There are 3 types of tents : 2 unit of each family, couple and single tents. And priced at RM250, RM210 and RM120 respectively with added surcharge of RM30 on weekend, school and public holidays. I was advised by the opeartor to park within the compound of Ad Diniah school. As soon as I arrived and parked my car, I inquired about the parking payment and a school teacher told me to leave and not park my car there. I asked the Glamping operator and he told me to park at the roadside. It was really irresponsible of them to just brush aside security and safety problems of the car park. The roadside is pretty narrow and so, I decided to leave my car in the school compound. To reach the glamping site, there is a 30m hill hike with hand rails to assist. The glamping site also offers a DIY Steamboat set with added cost on service and rental of fire pit. Once there, we were told of the only toilet to use and some tips on staying in the tent. We had the farthest tent at the site and quite a walk to the toilet. The toilet was smelly and totally inadequate. We had to share that one toilet with the other tent dwellers. It is really disgusting. There is not much of activities to do here. The terrain in beautiful. I was hoping to do some hiking and some high or low rope activities here. But none is available here. It would have been great, though. None of the dwellers took the DIY steamboat, either. And early the next morning at about 8.30am, the opeartor came by the tent and cleared the rubbish and waited to clean it. We actually had until 12 noon to check out. But, I felt like we were being chased away. We quickly packed our things and left. I find that glamping is not for me, especially on the issue of dirty and distant toilet. Read moreThe Backyard Glamping are family owned by friendly Muslim family that loves nature. ||We arrived by at Backyard by 4.30 pm and it have started to drizzled quite heavily and we need to check in and get the map instructions. At the check in lobby, local produce farmed by The Backyard family are sold there like 5types of potatoes, cabbage and napa cabbage. We bought some potatoes back home and it was really good and price are definitely reasonable than Cameron markets ☺️||Our family ten with attached bathroom are located 150m away and you have to walk up hill and the road are challenging if you are carrying a baby or even with luggages. Not recommended for senior citizen or anyone who has knees problem.||Once we have reached our tent, family deluxe tent with private toilet (no N), we were amazed by the beauty of the scenery. It was very cold that day of course as it was drizzling heavily. The road was slippery and the weather was misty. By sunset it was raining heavily and wind was blowing hard. ||The was 2 open kitchen area which you can prepare simple meals with stove, refrigerator, microwave, kettle and all the cutleries provided with BBQ tent too. ||We prepared simple steamboat at the back of our tent ⛺️ and there are Netflix provided in the tent. ||The downside of this glamping site would be there are no water heater provided in the toilet for shower and for light sleeper like myself, would be a problem. Not sure of other glamping sites as this is our first family experience and the kids enjoyed it. Nice weather, nice view and breathing nice air and you are surrounded by beautiful floras and cabbage farm too||There are 2 swings located besides our tent which my 2 kids enjoyed playing there. ||Please bear in mind not to disturb other as there are silent time starts 11pm till 7am.||Nothing much cons about The Backyard Glamping and we can’t wait to be back again...
