We were already late for lunch and tired of Chinese food. With the cold weather, our taste buds wanted something spicy and different. We googled for Malay food and found Restoran Bunda which is a decent nasi campur outlet located in a new commercial block just off the main Tanah Rata road. There’s plenty of parking outside the restaurant but we had trouble loading the PahangGo parking app and the very kind Bunda staff offered to pay parking for me😍 so I can go enjoy my lunch. The spread is amazing with a variety of vegetables, chicken, taufoo, fish, lala, beef, mutton dishes. With the cold weather, some of the dishes were getting cold, however, for the mutton and beef curries, they kept the food warm on the stove. Diners are given a plate of rice and they add whatever dishes they want, however much they want. There is also a drink counter where they help themselves with the tarik or air bandung and it's refillable.
