Hotel Suria 18 Ipoh — Hotel in Perak

Location of the hotel is super as it was very close-by to McDonald, Aeon Mall etc. Somehow it was not valued to an amount that I've spent there as what I get is very terrible. ||||I've arrived late at midnight and was given the room key after the chin-in process took place not more then 5 minutes. To my surprise, do noticed that I was given a broken shower knob and broken pipe whereby I can't take any shower as I was rushed for late supper. I was given another room within 15 minutes and even the 2nd room getting worse. Still with the same issue of the shower knob as the shower head is broken, water pressure also inconsistent as the pressure will dropped within 2 minutes. Torn of bath towels (both) AC not cool enough although I've set to the lowest temperatures. AC Ventilation hole full of dust/alga. Disgusted stain on bed sheet and duvet cover. WiFi connection is 1 out of 10. I've reported this issue on my 2nd day when I was out from my room for the whole day, upon returning I was informed that all issue resolved. Somehow on my findings, AC still not cool (AC vent was cleaned...good) bed sheet and duvet was changed to be more worst as more disgusted stain noticed. Nothing was made on water pressure and same goes to the WiFi connection. This made me decided to shortened my stay and departed 1 day early checked out at 2pm and another surprise I was given that I was charged for late check-out. Wow!!!!!! I'm looking for a big space room for my guest and I would like to view the room but the new staff said he working alone and cannot leave the counter. I came all the way from KL and I'm rushing so I begged him. The other staff, (Ms. Aida) who already finish duty at 11 pm but still there even though is already 11:30 pm and was watching you tube on guest computer suddenly interfere and said that we cannot view at this time. I inform them we understood the policies. She was talking rudely to us and leave while my sister still talking to her. We ask the new staff what is the room size so at least we know how big it is but he didn't know and he don't have any book or brochure to refer also. This is terrible impression from the hotel, we can't view the room and they can't even explain about the room and the size.If this type of problem occurs, how would you like to...

Staying here for short (May 2025) since i have family wedding here. Also this is my hometown so i kinda familiar with this hotel. I stay in Quadruple/family room. Same room since i ask them before check in. Have window which is good and its big enough for 4 adult. . Receptionist lady is helpful and easy to ask anything. The room & toilet is clean and well maintained. . I come with my parents, they also comfortable and there's lift too. All necessary things like toiletries, towel and cloth hook is there but No fridge. Aircond took a bit long to make the room cold but there's also celling fan if you want to used it. . Thus, in short, i comfortable in this hotel. my family too. Near to Mcd, Aeon, Lotus and easy to find food for breakfast/Lunch/Dinner. i booked this through agoda, you can chat them through agoda if anything and they reply it almost...
