Fred C 1/5 17 minutes ago on Google This hotel seems too new that they have yet to get the 1 star review they deserve. They're going to get it now. Paid for 9 days stay, at about RM1++ per day. These people are very cheapskate. They won't give water, (small) toilet tissues, and towels that was meant to be given on a daily basis. They only give them ONCE every TWO days, and this room I had to book was meant for COUPLES! How much can these cost huh???? To make things worse, the room I was in had BEDBUGS! So if you're unfortunate enough to be in this hotel, BUY A BEDBUG REPELLANT IMMEDIATELY! And once you start spraying it, you'll realize that the ventilation is so poor that all the air from your room will go to the corridor, and then BACK INTO YOUR ROOM! So you're basically guaranteed to get infected by any contagious respiratory diseases if you stay here! I've asked for room housekeeping which was meant to be operational every 3 days, but not once have anyone come to do housekeeping at all. They even employ a burly man as one of their staff to scare guests from demanding their rights! Days before the term ends, the lights inside the bathroom suddenly exploded. The bathroom was completely dark. I decided to leave immediately even though my paid days haven't ended yet. And as expected, THEY REFUSED TO REFUND THE DIFFERENCE. I may have asked for a slight discount, but as far as I'm concerned, they could've easily reverted to original pricing and give back the difference, BUT THEY DID NOT DO SO EITHER. This hotel should just shut down like the previous Ecotel that used to be on the same lot. In fact Ecotel was far better than this one. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!!! Now that I think back on the pricing, THERE ARE MANY OTHER BUDGET HOTELS THAT ARE FAR BETTER AND CHEAPER THAN THIS! AVOID!!!!! The only reason why this hotel still has 1 star from me, is because so far there aren't any roaches. But what's the point if there's...
Read moreWe booked a standard triple room on weekend Public Holiday Location: The hotel is located in a shop lot along the roadside, and the surrounding area feels more like an office district. If you need to buy anything, there's a Petronas located behind the hotel, about an 8–10 minute walk away. There's also a McDonald's right next to the Petronas.
Room: The room isn’t very spacious, but it comes with a window. There’s a bit of difficulty performing salah due to the narrow space. However, I really like the furniture and layout. The space is well-designed — it even has a bedding area with a built-in plug, which makes it easy to charge your phone right from the bed. I also love the mirror and TV placement — it’s just right for enjoying a movie. Although the channels are limited, there’s still something to watch. The colour combination, mainly white, gives the room a warm and cozy feel. The bathroom, on the other hand, is quite spacious. Once again, I love the design and decoration. It looks luxurious, and the layout is very practical and functional.
Accommodation: There’s a lift and an ironing room on the ground floor. In the room, a kettle is provided along with some 3-in-1 drinks. Towels, shampoo, and shower gel are also provided .
Parking: There are plenty of free parking in front of hotel (during weekend)
Staff: The front desk was okay, but when we called to request a sajada, they said they would provide it. However, we never received it until the time we...
Read morewhen I went for a 12 days trip in ipoh, I booked 6 different hotels through agoda to find the one that best suits my need. in the end, I stayed the rest of my 5 nights in ipoh in this hotel. this hotel has four of my topmost priority: quietness, cold ac, refrigerator, and elevator. it is also closer to the place where I had to go daily. there were some disturbances that woke me up in the dead of night by other guests (the walls are kinda thin) but mostly it was an okay experience during my stay there during off season. the ac can chill the room in 1-2 hours. refrigerator is performing sufficiently cold. room cleanliness in general is good. bed quality is okay. windows are tinted although it's single pane. sometimes noisy vehicles running on the street outside can be heard. toilet water pressure is good. bath waterpressure is ok, although the hot water performance is sub-par by my standards. the room lighting is very nice with lots of indirect/diffused lights. there is an air inlet provided in the room. the bathroom exhaust has a dedicated switch to control. I really like that the room facilities are very thoughtfully planned and designed. there is a minimarket nearby within 3 minutes walk away. totally recommend this hotel and I would be happy to come stay here again the next time I visit ipoh. my only suggestion to the establishment is for them to set an upper limit to the TVs volume so they dont disturb other...
