We are Closed — Hotel in Petaling Jaya

Anyone with claustrophobia should reconsider this hotel. And the selection to opt for one/two beds does not apply, albeit shown in the booking app. The thumb rule is, book the type of beds instead of type of room. The rooms here are smaller than the ones in Japan. The corridor is narrow, and there are type of rooms that are facing the opposite guest rooms. Yes, I opened the curtains and there was someone in the opposite room. Hotel is quiet, as I didn't see a single soul during my 2 days stay. Room was smaller than the ones that I have stayed in Japan. You get in, thats the bed and toilet. There is a flat TV with just local channels. There are 2 bottles of water and 2 sachets of coffee, 2 mini size snacks (cheese ring/fish cracker) and a kettle. Room had a scent of musky and mold. Very likely as there is no ray of sun that could get into that room. I surrendered on the second night, I slept at a friend's place. I can't open the windows due to security, I felt confined, I don't know what I am inhaling into my lungs, the place is...

I had a wonderful stay at Good Hope Hotel, Kelana Jaya! The staff, especially Lonia, provided excellent service and made the experience even better. The room was very clean and comfortable, equipped with all the essentials. I appreciated the convenience of having an elevator and the thoughtful touch of complimentary snacks for guests.

The location is fantastic – easy access to nearby areas, with a convenient store just steps away and plenty of great food options nearby. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Kelana Jaya.
