Returned to EatBBQ at Paradigm Mall to celebrate my 71st birthday, having fond memories of last year’s treat when the birthday boy dined free — no strings attached! 🥳
However, this year came with a little surprise twist: the birthday promo now requires three diners (birthday celebrant + two paying guests) to qualify for the free meal. A good heads-up for future celebrants — check the latest T&Cs before planning!
That said, we quickly shifted gears and opted for the Senior Citizen Package, which turned out to be a great alternative. It offered a generous discount and still included full access to the grill buffet and twin hotpots. Definitely worth it!
Food-wise, EatBBQ didn’t disappoint:
Juicy marinated meats (beef, chicken, squid) grilled to smoky perfection 🥩🔥 Fresh seafood and assorted veggies for the steamboat – loved the tom yum broth with a kick 🌶️ Great selection at the buffet bar: sushi, fried rice, kimchi, local desserts, and ice cream galore! 🍣🍦
Service was friendly, seating was comfortable, and the self-service setup made the whole experience leisurely and fun. Despite the promo change, we left satisfied, full, and happy.
Tip: If you're celebrating a birthday, bring along two buddies to enjoy the birthday deal. Otherwise, the senior discount is a solid Plan B.
Verdict: Still a favourite spot for casual celebrations, grill-your-own fun, and great value meals in a lively mall setting. Will return — maybe with a third diner next year! 😄
Jom makan and celebrate with spice!

Celebrated my 70th birthday at EatBBQ, Paradigm Mall, and it was a fantastic experience!
The buffet offered an incredible variety of fresh meats, seafood, and vegetables, perfect for both BBQ and steamboat lovers. The marinated chicken and beef were tender and flavourful, while we cooked the prawns that were juicy and cooked to perfection. The contrast between the smoky grilled meats and the fragrant steamboat broth made each bite memorable.
The restaurant’s ambiance is spacious and well-lit, with different areas catering to both intimate dinners and lively group gatherings. The central air-conditioning kept us cool, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a leisurely meal.
Drink options were plentiful, from refreshing iced lemon tea to vibrant fruit punches. Everything was served chilled, perfectly complementing the rich flavors of the BBQ.
The service was top-notch—attentive staff ensured our plates were cleared and drinks refilled promptly. Plus, the promotion of a free meal for the birthday celebrant was a fantastic bonus!
Overall, EatBBQ offers great value for money with its extensive menu and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just craving a BBQ feast, I highly recommend...

🔥 Honest Review: The Worst BBQ Experience at eatbbq, Paradigm Mall
Rating: ⭐ 1/5 (Only because 0 isn’t possible)
I had the WORST dining experience at eatbbq, Paradigm Mall. Here’s why: False Advertising We were lured in with the promise of lamb. After we sat down, took our food, and started eating then SURPRISE, there’s no lamb. That’s not a mistake, that’s a deliberate scam. We had people who don’t eat beef, and they just shrugged it off like it wasn’t their problem. You should tell us earlier if mmg takde lamb. So obvious lah you nak tipu 😤
Terrible Food Quality • The meat and seafood were NOT FRESH (im not even kidding) • Chicken and beef were bland, seafood smelled off, and fried items like fried chicken were still raw inside. • The fried rice and noodles were unbearably salty. Seriously felt like eating plain salt and onions. • Sauces were tasteless
FILTHY, UNHYGIENIC PLACE • Utensils were dirty, and the food tong area was disgusting. • The place wasn’t even full, so there’s no excuse not to keep it clean.
Mediocre Soups • The tomyam soup just tasted like raw spices and not spicy at all. Might as well use a tomyam cubelah
Disappointing Desserts • Ice cream was average, nothing special.
Not Worth the Price • For the same price, go to Suki-Ya instead cause its much tastier, better quality, and cleaner.
Poor Facilities • The grill was too small even for 4 people. Grill is pathetically small, and so are the sauce bowls. And very CALAR BALAR YE • Sauce containers were also ridiculously small.
we were toooo disappointed to the point tak ambil gambar sgt pun
Conclusion: TAK SEDAP, DIRTY, and DISAPPOINTING. Don’t waste your time or...
Read moreHeard few friends mentioned abt this restaurant. Decided to give it a try. Made a booking for 7pm on Friday evening. We were late due to bad traffic frm Cheras. Called the restaurant up & asked them to hold our table & they did. We arrived around 7:45pm. We have 3 adults & 3 children altogether & were given a table of 8. First impression, restaurant is clean & cosy and staffs are very attending. Fair amount of varieties of fresh veggies & standard food for shabu shabu. We were asked to scan the QR Code to order other foods like beef, chicken, lamb, prawns, patin fish, clams & soup bases. We chose all of those & waiting time was fair, around 10-15 mins for beef, lamb, chicken & prawn to arrive. There were fried rice, white rice, French fries, fried nuggets & fried sausages served as well. Free flow of drinks; Pepsi, Mug Sarsapila, 7 Up, Ice Lemon Tea, Green Tea Free flow of Nestle Ice Cream; 5 flavors We stayed there till around 10pm, and staffs there were nice enough to let us stay & finished the remaining food we ordered. We observed that the staffs are quite attentive & few of them only managed to eat their dinners after clients have left (after 10pm). They also came to our table to help the children with bbq which we really appreciate that. For this range or pricing we are paying, this restaurant considered good enough comparing to others. We will definitely be coming back again! Thanks for your patience...
