Casa del Sol — Hotel in Cancún

A beautiful waterfront property with well kept grounds. I had the best naps in the hammock with the breeze from the sea and the tanning chairs were great too. Pool was clean! Comfortable living quarters inside. Clean bedding, lots of closet space and sand free floors. Small kitchen but other than the fridge, we barely used it. Strong AC kept the suite cool. The shower/water was hot at all times! Wifi was good 85% of the time. Neighbourhood felt safe! 5-15min walk to small restaurants, we loved the ones on the beach. Highly recommend taking the ferry to Isla Mujeres; beautiful and is right there. Overall; this was a good place to stay if you want an alternative to the typical Cancun all inclusives. Toilets need some work they are nice but hard to flush.

A Puerto Juarez, vicino il terminal dei traghetti per Isla mujeres, casa del sol offre una splendida vista mare; dispone di una uscita privata al mare, peccato la Spiaggetta sia inesistente e L acqua scura per la presenza di molte alghe. La spiaggia vicina, Playa del Niño é a 10 minuti a piedi. Lo spazio esterno dispone di lettini solari e amache, é un luogo molto tranquillo. La mattina una famiglia di iguane visita il terrazzo in cerca di qualche bocconcino di frutta. intorno la piscina un orribile prato artificiale e la piscina era spesso torbida. Le stanze da letto sono umide, i nostri vestiti, dopo un paio di settimane facevano odore di muffa, una borsa fatta di tela e pelle é stata completamente danneggiata. La cucina e gli attrezzi appena sufficienti per preparare un pasto. Il bagno datato. La responsabile, Gaby, é stata molto gentile e presente quando ne abbiamo avuto bisogno; lo stesso non si può dire del resto del personale che neanche rispondeva al saluto, in particolare, lo scorbutico addetto alla manutenzione.
