The hotel is old but very practical above all the rooms are clean . I never seen had any cockroaches in my room. Very basic hotel that is value for money. I have 2 double beds in my room and am traveling solo. I like the location a bus passes ever 5 minutes to hotel zone cost about 80 p . The city is very cheap compared to hotel zone. Plaza las americas is 50 Mexican peso there you have a food hall with every fast food outlet from Italian to Alabama Starbucks if you want western. Surrounded with American and Irish bars at Europe prices. This hotel is a budget hotel . It has TV but could not find English speaking. It has aircon and could not turn it off untill my second stay and did it by closing the air vent by hand very easy but and simple . I was looking for electric switch and there is not one.. This is not Spanish style with balcony hotel. .Built i guess in 1920 but it is bug free . I bought a bought a kettle for s £10 from supermarket. I does have internet in the room. Its seen other hotels in the city none as clean as this for the price.. One more think toilet paper in the city goes in the bin next to the toilet.. I block the toilet twice by forgetting my...
Read moreI arrived at 3am in the morning and they could not find my reservation. After making me wait for about 30 minutes while they looked, and after me showing the confirmation email, confirmation on the website, the confirmation on the booking app, the transaction in my bank account AND having the booking company call them; they still made me pay them again and said I could resolve it in the morning. Had I not had cash on me, I would of been in a tight spot so late in the evening. I go back in the morning and they say they found my reservation but some “local taxes” are been deducted although my reservation was fully paid. I contested that and the woman told me I should learn to read terms and conditions so I asked her to show me where it was in the terms. Obviously she couldn’t find it, said I can have the “tax” money back since I clearly needed it more. Great...
Read moreBE CAREFUL! Two men entered my room with a key to another room. Then the reception told me that they had changed the key but not the door lock of the men who entered my room. I don't know 'if a key works in all the rooms or if they were burglars, I don't know'. Later the reception told me that the hotel does not cover theft. There are no safes in the rooms. So if the 2 men who entered my room decided to take something I would have a problem the hotel wouldn't fix. That hotel is not safe. Be careful.||||TEN CUIDADO!
