The food was good. This time I had ordered and eaten the chicken fajitas which were delicious. My complaint is the wait time and that they did not bring the tortillas. I would go back and order the same. I also had the lemonade which was delicious. Good price, good portion. They did bring some type of gravy which wasn't good so I just didn't eat it. Service was a bit slow. They weren't very busy. The waiters were courteous. The Atmosphere is wide open so mosquitos can get in but it wasn't to hot there in the evening with the wind and the fans going. Although I'm not a big fan of the fan noise. Sometimes the music can get really loud. Because it is an open restaurant with no doors, Mariachi's and kids come in to sell you a song, a flower, or some kind of souvenir. The first few times it's fun but after a while it's annoying because you feel guilty for not buying a song or something from the kids. It can get a little uncomfortable. Overall it is a good place to get something to eat...
Read moreAfter experiencing the Park Las Palapas next door. The restaurant on the left had too much smoke and boom, boom, boom so we left there and stopped here. Good Choice 4 people and we all had similar meals, Fajitas, Nachos, etc. All price about the same. 5 mixed drinks total no beer and we all left happy and stuffed. . Clean bathrooms Great service Great local Mexican food Good strong drinks 4 people $61USD plus tip. We usually eat at Peter's so we know good food and we will be happy to come back here.
PS. The waiter spoke just enough English that we understood the menu.
2nd visit lost 3 stars. 4 giant margaritas served in huge beer steins. 2 men 2 small women drank them. No buzz at all. 1 oz tequila 31 oz mix

Read moreIt is a really nice place, I really recommend it. We spent 2 weeks in Cancun so far, eating out every day once, and this place is one of the best places we tried. Finally they use spices instead of making everything really hot and skipping the flavors because of it, like other restaurants. We had nachos, which was a good one, and a cochinita pibil because our server recommended it, and he was right, it was amazing. Soft, flavorful (not just the flavor of the meat, but spices). The bean sauce that we got was really good too, finally not just plain bean flavor, but tasty and flavorful. Our server was a breeze, spoke english very well, funny but polite, had a nice recommendation - he has been the best server we have met so far in Cancun. Too bad that the place next to this has such a loud music, I liked our...
