Café Nader — Restaurant in Cancún

The place was clean and followed COVID protocols. The hostess was friendly, it is a busy place and the waiting time was long for a coffee drink.

I was looking forward to going to this cafe over the weekend for a coffee and a rosca de reyes to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, the coffee with milk that I had asked was excessively hot, and my mouth was scorched. I told the waiter about it, but they showed no sympathy. The rosca was dry and tasteless, tasted like an old bread, yet it look delicious.

This is the place to go if you want your coffee at a really high temperature. Because I was disappointed, I didn't order...

Today I arrived around 11:20 to the Café and asked for a coffee and a Concha (which is supposed to be one of their specialities). They said it’s not ready and kept me waiting by saying it needs 15 minutes then 10 more minutes, then 5 and around 12:05, they said “sorry, it’s gonna take one hour” after I have already waited for more than 45 minutes for it! I was extremely disappointed and I’m sure I’ll never visit this place again! That’s my experience which could be different...

I stopped here to eat with a friend, the food and service was good but the waiter tried to pull a fast one when I paid with 50 USD. He said the exchange rate was 10 to 1 and gave me my change in Pesos. So I talked to the manager and come to find out it was in fact 13 to 1 and the waiter had my 50 in his pocket. I got the proper change back and left pretty upset that an establishment this nice could hire guys like that. Oh...
