The people are so wonderful at Los Alcatraces and the food is so good and unbelievably cheap. It's more of a self-service, I guess that's why, but I'm not sure. I've been there twice now and I was surprised to only see local people both times, I was the only white person (not a bad thing at all, I just thought there would be loads more tourists with this many good reviews). I was asking about how much to tip the first time and the lovely server (I'm so sorry, I've forgotten your name.. The walls are full of beautiful colours and art (look past the fluorescent lighting, it's a lovely place). I would definitely recommend this...

And deserts are awesome!!! Most importanlty, I felt light and didn't have the typical food coma after I eat Mexican food, that's an indicator to me of a good quality food...
