Condesa Haus — Local services in Mexico City

Our room (Puebla) in Condesa Haus had a real case of Instagram vs reality. While the stained-glass bathroom window looks nice, the reality is a window that's falling apart, and this kind of sums up the whole room.

Towels and bed linen were worn and stained, while the bathroom had chipped and missing tiles, a heavily stained bath and dust everywhere.

The receptionist was pleasant enough and the breakfast was fine, but we decided to eat elsewhere with there a lot of nicer cafés/bakeries within walking distance.

The only real positive is its location and the fact that you're unlikely to be in the room much anyway if visiting Mexico City...

My husband and I just stayed at Condesa Haus for 11 nights and it was a wonderful experience. Not one complaint. It was clean. It was quiet. Excellent service. Super friendly and helpful staff. Fernando was amazing. Josue was incredible. Ana and Mary were fantastic. The building is so beautiful. The neighborhood is charming. The breakfasts were delicious. The bed was awesome. Our room was even more awesome. The roof top deck was such a fantastic treat. We will be back to Mexico City and we will definitely be staying at Condesa Haus. I consider myself to be a frequent guest at Condesa Haus. Since my first visit in 2014, I have stayed quite a few times. In 2018 I even stayed for a whole month while taking an intensive Spanish course. The architecture of the house itself is stunning. I've stayed in 3 different rooms on different occasions and found them all well-appointed and all with comfortable beds. For me, breakfast is of great importance and Condesa Haus does not disappoint.
