Oh my goodness this place is a hidden gem on the Mexico City high street. The menu changes daily and each dish is absolutely perfect! Easily the best food I ate on my whole ten day trip. And that was throughout Mexico City and Oaxaca.
the value for money is insane! You get a starter soup and nachos as you walk in. And then a main meal for less than 100 pesos. I’d easily pay four times as much for the quality. Absolutely delicious.
If you don’t know Spanish and can’t read the menu. I encourage you to just take a lucky stab and order something and see what you get. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
You will regret not trying this place out. And you will want to eat here everyday once you come here the first time. I found it just before the end of my trip, so I only got to eat here a couple times. I regret it massively.

El mobiliario se encuentra distribuido a lo largo de un pequeño salón principal y tiene algunas mesas en la parte de afuera, la decoración mezcla varios estilos entre maximalismo, kitsch y tradicional mexicano, hace uso predominante de diversas texturas orgánicas que promueven un imaginario de volver a las raíces, los elementos se integran adecuadamente con profundo arraigo tradicional.
Al fondo exhiben un amplio mural con elementos wixárika, entre los rincones hay piezas artesanales que se involucran de manera estética de acuerdo a la identidad del espacio; vasijas de barro, jícaras de guaje, Judas y Lupitas elaborados en cartonería viven ocultos ante los ojos de todos.
Las porciones son generosas y la sazón es destacada, la presentación con que sirven los platillos muestra la mirada cuidadosa que tienen hacia el detalle, el espacio se encuentra acompañado de una banda sonora compuesta por música regional en el fondo.
Los miércoles y viernes hay mezcal de cortesía, la atención es muy buena.
