Hotel Durango 219 is a lovely little gem in the vibrant Roma Norte neighborhood, close to MANY bars, restaurants, and transport options. The rooms are adorable, with private balconies, comfy beds, and great amenities (Nespresso machine, wine glasses, fresh water pitchers daily, daily housekeeping, and 2 onsite restaurants). From the moment we arrived, Fernanda and the rest of the staff at the desk offered amazing guest service. Know that the hotel has a boutique nature and you will not find a traditional lobby/front desk. Despite this, excellent guest service shines through. You can easily communicate with the front desk via WhatsApp for anything you need during your stay, including coordinating offsite private tours. They even check in on you throughout the week via WhatsApp, making sure your stay is wonderful. While we didn’t get the chance to dine at the Babero restaurant downstairs, it looked wonderful. However, we thoroughly enjoyed Cafe Margot on the roof, which is a perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, or cocktails during the day. The location of this hotel is truly unmatched. We explored many neighborhoods during our time here, and this one stood out as the best. It's within walking distance of countless bars, cafes, and restaurants, and picking up an Uber from the hotel is extremely easy and affordable. Most places we wanted to visit were within a 15-20 minute walk, but when we needed to go further, an Uber was always available. The hotel has daily housekeeping, which was a nice touch. Our room did not have an air conditioner, but we understand some other rooms do. We visited in May and had no problem keeping the room cool at night by leaving the door open and using the rotating fan provided by the hotel. Thank you, Hotel Durango 219, for making our first visit to CDMX wonderful. We can’t wait to return!

We stayed here late June. I had emailed them about early check in and they responded quickly. We booked the king suite and we loved it. The hotel is above the restaurant but since we were high enough, we didn’t have noise. Plus our room had a portable ac unit. The room comes with water that they refill every time they clean the room. There’s also a mini fridge if you buy your own. The bed was comfy and one of those sinkable ones. The hotel felt pretty secure since you have to enter codes in the elevator plus rooms. The WhatsApp concierge was great and handy. Location is in good spot with many walkable areas and shops. Overall great stay and would be glad to go back here!

Came here to explore CDMX for the first time - and it was Perfecto. Location location location - this hotel is located at the cross section of Roma Norte and condesa so it was super easy to walk everywhere including the Castle and even the Anthropologie museum. We felt super safe in the area and ventured out for late night tacos often. Rooms are compact but perfectly appointed - the design and the balcony were great for relaxing when we were in the room. House keeping was on point every day. AC also worked strong when we needed it. Because it's in such a hot location, it can be somewhat loud and busy in the evenings, but a set of earplugs is all you need.

I moved into Durango 219 from a 3 day stay at the St Regis which is close by and almost $1,000 a night. I like this hotel better. |My room is on the 3rd floor facing Durango but has plenty of windows into greenery and is quiet with the doors closed. The sheets are better than those at the St Regis. The bathroom is lovely and huge with nice towels . It is the first hotel I have stayed in in Mexico that has wash clothes. Unlike other hotels I have stayed, in the shower is very simple to use and provides great water pressure. |They have thought through every plug and every light fixture. I always wish there was a night light in bathrooms. Bam. They thought of this too. |Getting into your room requires three codes…two for the elevator and one for your room so be sure to write them down since I learned the hard way when my phone ran out of battery. |A nice chef provides breakfast on the rooftop. (You have to go to the lobby to have them let you up).|The TV is huge but getting English on it has been a challenge. I just use my ipad for everything.||There is a small mall across the street with upscale shopping. |I love this tree lined street with restaurants around every corner. Ubers have never cost more than $12. Usually are about $5 to get to most of the attractions. |The restaurant downstairs is expensive and quite loud but i have had some great wine at the bar. |If you need help from the hotel you just message them on What’sApp. ||So happy I found this hotel. My room had two queens on the 3rd...
