I’m usually pretty relaxed & understanding when it comes to eating at restaurants, but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had eating out somewhere.
We booked a table here through OpenTable and paid $90USD/per person for the New Years Eve meal there. When we arrived, they said they had no tables available and tried to seat us at the bar - even though we reserved ahead of time.
The place was obviously very packed and extremely understaffed. I blame management for not staffing appropriately on such a busy day.
We were seated at 10PM. We did not get our meal until 12AM (2 hours later). A lot of other people were upset and did not get their meal either. When it arrived, the meat was completely raw - see photos - which was a health hazard. I had to ask 7 different people to give us a fork and knife just so we could cut into the raw steaks. I would ask one person, they would nod to give us one, then never come back. I’m pretty sure they ran out of utensils. As other tables got frustrated and left, we even considered using their dirty utensils to eat with because we could not get them.
The worst part: they are refusing to taking responsibility and refund our experience. We are stuck paying $270+ USD for three people for this level of service. I highly recommend not going here for any busy days nor booking the prefix option through Open Table. We have contacted their management and Open Table and they will not refund people. Read moreAtmosphere was nice and busy for a Friday night. We were welcomed in and seated quickly by the hostess. I found the music to be way too loud for a bar. It’s not a lounge. No one is dancing. People come here to have a drink and a conversation which is difficult without shouting at the other person.
Barcode extremely difficult to scan to access menu, I just looked on their website. I didn’t find any of their cocktails to be very imaginative.
I was excited to try a gin specialty bar because I love gin but there were no spirit forward cocktails other than the classic Negroni and standard martini. Every other drink was accompanied by tonic or ginger beer.
Based off reading the menu I could also tell that most drinks would be too sweet for my taste with sweet liqueurs or sweetened with simple syrup.
I did not enjoy either drink I had. Being overly sweet and extremely weak - I barely tasted any alcohol
To top it off, this place is a huge scam. The waiter asked if I wanted water, when i replied yes to only one bottle (as opposed to him trying to sell me two) and I’m glad I did because one bottle cost 143 pesos! Which is absurd. One alcoholic drink cost about 230 pesos.
When I asked for the check, the waiter also tried to tip himself 20% when I told him 10% he was not very nice about it trying to bully me into giving him more.

When we arrived, they told us despite holding a reservation they could not seat us as they didn’t have a table available. After walking away and attempting to make last minute alternate plans, they told us they would accommodate us “as a courtesy.” Not sure how there was any courtesy extended when the error was their own. They proceeded to charge us $400 USD UP FRONT prior to the meal for both the prix- fixe meal AND tip before sending over a server to take our order. Then the saga of problems continued with the service and ambiance. Loud music was BLARING through the speakers and the service was so disorganized that it became laughable. Despite explaining in spanish what we wanted to drink and eat, nothing arrived as ordered. The steaks arrived to the table blue rare despite being ordered cooked medium. The accompaniments and sides were ice cold. After sending the food back twice, we requested a refund and to leave. They were unable to process a refund “because their refund system” was down. The manager took my name and contact info and said he would follow up with a refund ASAP. I still have not heard from the restaurant and have had to alert American Express to contest the charges.
