I’m pretty surprised by the awesome reviews. The main good thing about this hotel is the location. It’s really centrally located and it’s in an area that feels pretty safe.
That being said, this hotel is not for someone who wants to spend any time relaxing in their room. It’s useful mostly for showering and sleeping at night.
First, there doesn’t seem to be any AC or heater, as there are no air vents or thermometer. Also, it’s next to a busy street where you can expect to hear honking constantly during the day and early evening (mostly during the weekdays, but a bit on weekends), as well as cars accelerating and other random street noises (the walls are paper thin).
If you stay here, make sure to check whether your sheets have been changed, as we found some makeup residue that wasn’t ours when we first got in. Read moreIf you want something that's in the heart of mexico city, then this hotel is well placed. The room itself was spacious and bed was clean, but the washroom needed a lot of work. The shower was draining slow and faucet was plugged. The washroom would be all wet after the shower. There were some really bad touchups in the washroom like the plastic sheets to cover the drainage. ||The room had no ventilation whatsoever and there was nothing to control the temperature of the room. If you open the window to get fresh air, mosquitoes will get in and the window itself was pretty unsafe as it opened really wide and someone can fall through.||The wifi was close to...
