During my recent stay at The Red Tree House in Mexico City, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional experience it offered. This boutique hotel stands out for its remarkable staff, prime location, and delightful amenities, making it a perfect choice for travelers seeking a cozy and inviting atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the staff at The Red Tree House made us feel like valued guests. Their genuine warmth, attentiveness, and willingness to go above and beyond were truly remarkable. Whether it was offering helpful tips for exploring the city, arranging transportation, or simply engaging in friendly conversation, the team created a home-away-from-home vibe that is rare to find. Situated in the charming Condesa neighborhood, The Red Tree House boasts an ideal location for exploring Mexico City. The area is known for its tree-lined streets, vibrant cafes, and eclectic shops. It’s a short walk to beautiful parks like Parque México and Parque España, and there are numerous dining and entertainment options nearby. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to public transportation made it easy to venture further afield to explore the city's iconic landmarks and cultural sites. One of the highlights of our stay was the included breakfast. Each morning, we enjoyed a fresh, delicious meal of traditional Mexican dishes. It was a great way to start the day, and the cozy dining area provided a wonderful opportunity to mingle with other guests. Equally enjoyable was the evening happy hour. This complimentary event was a lovely touch, offering a selection of beverages and snacks in a relaxed, social setting. It was the perfect time to unwind after a day of sightseeing, share experiences with fellow travelers, and soak in the hotel's inviting ambiance. The Red Tree House itself is a gem. The decor is tasteful and reflective of the local culture, creating a warm and aesthetically pleasing environment. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities we needed. The common areas, including the beautiful garden patio, added to the overall charm and provided additional spaces to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, The Red Tree House exceeded our expectations in every way. Read moreWhen I saw all the 5 star reviews I thought, no way, they must be all fake, how could any place have such glowing reviews and nothing negative?! But after my stay here, I can say they were absolutely right!!! This is the most perfect hotel/B&B EVER. I'm so glad I stayed here over other soulless hotels that were cheaper. From the first welcome to the last goodbye, every staff member here has made us feel so warm and cared for. ||Breakfast: This was my absolute favorite part -- I usually don't care for hotel breakfasts because I'm always on the go, but once I had the first bite, I moved our itinerary around so that we could get their breakfast every morning! They start around 7am with the bread and coffee, but the hot breakfasts start at 8am and end at 10am. I got to try chilaquiles, enchiladas, and enmoladas while I was here, and they really make them with heart and soul! These were the best things I ate during my trip to Mexico City! Also really loved the outside garden in the mornings with all the greenery and birds chirping. ||Location: in the heart of La Condesa, walking distance to Roma Norte, both neighborhoods were great for strolling through parks and art galleries. We ubered to other places further away and it was so cheap and convenient. ||Rooms: We stayed here for 4 nights and went to Oaxaca for 3, then back to the Red Tree House for the last night, and both rooms we had were cozy and comfy, with AC. They have great shampoo/conditioner and shower gel, amazing water pressure and temperature, everything was so clean, and I got to sit outside in the balcony and took it slow for the last morning we were there. Housekeeping was amazing, everything was perfect when we came back every night. ||Safety: They lock their front doors and the front gate so you need your key to get in, and there's a safe in every room. ||Happy Hour every night 6-8PM: This was such an unexpected bonus! I didn't even plan for us to be at the hotel during those hours because I wanted to see everything in CDMX, but it ended up raining during those hours and we went to one, and it was so much fun chitchatting with other like-minded travelers who shared what they loved about their trip -- We ended up going to a few more & got so many tips from other guests! ||The hotel dogs Romeo & Boss - I love them and miss them so much! ||Side note: I LOOOOVED all the art work and interior design and colors. Felt like I was in an art gallery but at the same time so comfortable at a friend's home. ||HIGHLY recommend!!! If I could give more than 5...
