CDMX Eats 2024 #27, Cafe/bakery #12: This is one of our favorite bakeries in cdmx (the other two being Cayetana and Odette).
We have been here six times this year both for morning pastries and post-dinner desserts. I don't think we have ever had anything that wasn't above average here (flor de limon, concha bicolor, flan, croissant almendra, kouin amann, chocolatin, croissant jamon y queso).
Our favorite are definitely their croissant almendra, flor de limon, and croissant jamon y queso. Prices here are lower than comparable bakeries and quality is above average. Service here is excellent everyone we have encountered here is both friendly and helpful. There is a specific guy who is always super friendly, but, unfortunately, I don't know his name.
I also appreciate how they always serve what's warmest/freshest and not necessarily what's sitting in the case. I plan to come back (duh) to try their panque de matcha and tarta de nuez y maple. I also eventually need to try their coffee.
I hope this place doesn't change. Truly a...

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this situation deserves to be shared. This bakery is putting people’s safety at risk.

I immediately asked the waiter to remove the table from the dangerous spot, but he rudely refused, stating, “That’s where we always put them.” This level of negligence is unacceptable. They are prioritizing aesthetics or space over customer safety.
Until they fix the pavement or stop using that area, I strongly recommend you avoid this place, especially if you’re elderly, injured, or...
Read moreQuite disappointed about how I was treated after I was asked to put my card twice and charged triple for that. I was used to buy my bread there almost every 2nd day during last year. I went back to the shop like 90 minutes after incident when i realized bank notification was not correct, so I showed ticket and bank statement, just to learn for the first time, that this is my problem, and that they prefer me to have me to loose my time with bank, who will now take about a month to investigate a 75 pesos payment gone wrong. The good, i already found good alternative bakeries close by. Good luck with your problem solving and math or revenue skills, this review is for free ;) Also might have the complete documentation, why you should not pay with card at youtube, since I am pretty sure, it could have...
