I really wanted to like this place. I’ve walked by a handful of times and it’s always packed and has, for the most part, good reviews.

I’ll start by mentioning that my experience is not from eating at the restaurant so I can’t comment on service or atmosphere.

I ordered the Hojas de Tomate y Pollo and a Vaso de Papaya for delivery. Delivery was very quick, which was great. The price seemed a little expensive for what I ended up getting though.

The papaya was good, but the salad was wilted and the greens did not look fresh (now looking back at the comments I see this is a common complaint). The chicken was also questionable looking. If I was in-person I would have sent it back. I spent that night and the following day, sick (I’ll spare you the details).

I thought that given it’s a well-populated restaurant in a great location I wouldn’t have this issue, but that wasn’t the case. I don’t want to discredit the entire establishment, but perhaps just steer clear of the salads if you go (or be smarter than me and send it back / toss it if your intuition...

Meh. Every place misses once in awhile - maybe this was one of them. With all the great reviews and constant crowds, I was excited to try this place after passing by so many times. The food was good and the vibe was positive. That is where things began to break down. Total confusion on how to get a table when they open up. The hostess looked through us like we weren't there. When the table she begrudgingly assigned to us opened up, she instructed us to order our food at the counter. She then proceeded to let the table go to some guys who walked in off the street while we ordered! Then she assigned the last open table in the restaurant to a couple who had obviously arrived after us. We ended up changing our order for 'to go'. It's good that the food was decent because the rest of the experience was a definite 'not going back'. Not worthy of the excellent reviews with crowds of hipsters sitting at tables for hours while you...

FRESH Juices, you had me just with those two words. With a full menu insert of juice options, it's going to be a difficult choice just picking one. For one, when you step into the cafe you are surrounded with fruit and vegetables and zero fruit flies. Not only can you purchase produce here, the cafe uses all of this fresh produce for your orders. After a few minutes of decision making on which juice to choose, you're already at the front of the line. We had ordered ANTIOX and HUESOS. If you are looking to sit down, the cashier gives you a number to place at your table (you can sit in any open spot). Once your juice is ready, a running delivers your juice in a glass jar; even better that it's a re-usable glass! The brightness of the juice and the flavor are out of this world. If I lived next to this place I'd be spending most of my money on their fresh juices and smoothies. Make it a point to stop here at least once when in...

Not Impressed. They were very disorganized, the guy running the seating was absolutely clueless. You have to go in and order at the counter and then sit and they will bring it to you but nothing there indicates that so you're left to figure it out on your own. My girlfriend asked for her scrambled eggs to be well mixed... and they didn't do it. She sent them back and they couldn't figure it out again. Her meal was not very big... she gets a much better deal in a place on Nuevo Leon. The croissant was flavorful but VERY overcooked. There was a large dog laying right in the middle of the floor with a couple of idiots not even paying attention to the fact that EVERYONE (old people, workers with plates in their hand, etc.) had to step over it. And the employees wouldn't say anything even though it was a hazard. Not a good experience... probably won't go back.

Hmm. I live right next to this place, but rarely go. It's always busy, at weekends there are queues of people outside. I only ever go when one of my friends insists, usually because they're craving vegetables. For the most part I find it overpriced and lacking in flavour. I had this "salad" for 160 pesos, which in reality was an ugly plate of vegetables with some cheese on top. I saw another customer send back his order because it tasted bad and they brought him something totally different, a previous time I went with two other friends, we decided independently on a brocolli breakfast thing (feeling healthy) and it was virtually inedible. None of us finished it. So, come if you are craving respite from fatty, meaty Mexican food but don't expect to be satisfied, and prepare to feel slightly stung in the wallet.
