Hotel NaNaVida Morelia — Hotel in Michoacán

Excellent service and attention to their guests! The main entrance is usually locked, you must ring their doorbell to be let in. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and offered water or soda. Check in was easy and we were offered a complimentary organic soap of our choice. Every time we returned from being out, the staff greeted us and offered a beverage. One night, my mother and I came back later than usual (around 11 pm) and found there was a security guard who was watching the premises and the front door was securely locked. Distance from "city center" is not an issue at all. We were debating whether to book here or with some of the more popular hotels across from the Plaza, but staying at Nana Vida was the better choice. Viri and the guy at the check in desk were always very helpful and accommodating. The only issue we had was the mattress unfortunately. We stayed in a king sized bed and our mattress was extremely hard. However, we figured a way around that with blankets, which made it more tolerable. Definitely recommend this hotel and definitely will book here when visiting...

I chose this hotel to get a taste of the traditional accommodation and what a good choice it was. The room (#8) was spacious, with thick walls and heavy glass in the doors so we heard no noise at all with our door closed. It was so silent throughout the night that we slept past 8 a.m. which was the perfect time for our made to order delicious breakfasts. All the staff was quiet, gentle, friendly, and efficient.|The Canadian government advisory recommended avoiding this area because of gang activity. We saw not one thing that was disturbing but we did see on the roads in the area many trucks with military style police standing in the back with rifles ready to stop any gang activity. It really worked to keep everyone aware they were ready & ever present. We felt beautifully protected and are so glad we proceeded with our travel plans!|One hint: reserve a table at the new Diego restaurant: beautiful ambience, delicious food, served beautifully, and priced better than some of the other 'good' restaurants that were not as pleasing. Overall, we are quite pleased with our stay here. The staff are wonderful and always willing to assist in every way.

Initially, our room was in the very front. It was large, but quite warm. The AC didn't work that well, but there was hot water and it was consistent. Despite, the room being in the very front and right by a very busy road it was surprisingly not so noisy.

Our room change is great! The AC blows cold and the beds are quite comfy. Rooms are always very clean. I love the large and well decorated rooms. Makes me comfortable and pleased being indoors. I would definitely come back and stay here again in the future.

I have to mention how wonderful Mariana and Monse were to us. These two young ladies were consistently very gracious and went out their way way to make us comfortable and ensure we had everything we needed. Staff...
