We have just left this hotel yesterday after having stayed two nights. It's a really beautiful oasis within the city. The pools are stunning and there's a variety of relaxation areas including loungers, hammocks and even chairs in the underground area of the pool where they light candles in the evening. Marcos the manager was always around to help us during our stay and Stacey gave us recommendations to wonderful cenotes in the area - off the beaten path - we were the only ones there at one of them! Go to Sak-Aua! (Pictured) The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Honestly some of the best food we've had on the trip! The room was large and clean, bathroom is huge. Toilet was a little hit and miss with flushing but not a problem really. Could do with a safe in the room ideally. Would highly recommend staying here, it's a beautiful hotel and the staff really can't do enough to make you feel welcome and to give you the best recommendations - they are lovely people.

We love, love, love this place! Want a homey type feel? This is the place. It is a very chic boutique hotel. Super cute with the sweetest staff. We escaped our large resort in Akumal to come here for 24 hours. Hopped on an extraordinarily expensive taxi to Tulum and then took the ADO all the way. Bus station is a few blocks from the hotel. The rooms are very well done, spacious, nice bathroom with hot water for showers. Great A/C and it took no time for the fridge to cool down for usage. It was super quiet and we had an amazing sleep. The customer service was spot on. They called for cabs or restaurant reservations on our behalf. The pool is cold, which is what you want when it's hot outside. We didn't try the bubble pool. The location is okay, but you will have to walk to get to the main area's of interest in Valladolid. We felt safe walking around the city, even at night.

Sehr schönes kleines Botique Hotel in Valladolid.

The hotel has a mold problem that caused me health problems immediately after I entered the room: severe allergies and difficulty breathing. I quickly went to reception and informed the receptionist of the problem, but she dismissed my complaint and did nothing. The next morning, after spending a night without being able to sleep or breathe, I reported my problem to the hotel once again. They told me there was nothing they could do, so they forced me to leave the hotel early. After first saying that they would refund me for the night, then they tried to refund only 50% of the night, which was unacceptable as I was forced to leave the hotel due to health issues. ||The manager, Marco, told me that they would not refund my money, and then he proceeded to act in a discriminatory way: he told me that they never had problems with their European guests, but only with the Mexican ones. He told me that this is why they preferred to rent only to foreigners and not to Mexicans, acting as if Mexicans were somehow below people from other countries. This was very offensive for someone who is married to a Mexican citizen and has lived in this beautiful country for four years.||Finally, it is completely untrue that this hotel is 5 stars. In reality, it should be one or two stars. The toilet would not flush, the shower handle fell off onto my foot, and the entire hotel was in a general state of disrepair. It's embarrassing that people could come to this amazing country and think that such a low quality hotel could be rated 5 stars. This was probably the worst and lowest quality hotel I've stayed in, in my four years in Mexico.||My wife and I had headaches and respiratory for two to three days after we left the hotel.||If you value quality and your health, and stand against racism and discrimination, please don't stay...

Hotel looks good, just like photos. Quiet area. Easy to walk everywhere.

You pay the price for boutique hotel but you don’t get it or any service. No water in room, had to ask for it. No fridge in room?? You only get a small bath towel, no hand towel, no face cloth. The shower is a rain shower so unless you want wet hair take a shower cap, because they don’t supply any toiletries. No safe in the room. No information in room about area or tours. Staff tell you wi-fi password is in your room, but don’t tell you you can’t actually get any coverage in your room. Wi-fi occasionally works from the balcony or in garden/by the pool if you are lucky. Afternoon staff don’t speak any English. Took me three attempts and miming just to get a towel for the pool when I am standing in reception in my swimmers?? Breakfast is 8:00 - 10:00, but if you are going on a tour or to Chichen Itza you are gone before 8:00. You can’t ask for take away breakfast because staff don’t speak English. So two days with no breakfast. 🙁 Lucky there is a supermarket right next door. Wanted to pay cash, but they had no change so was forced to pay by card.

If all you want is a bed, pool and a small towel then this might suit, but if you want any service, then...

I am an international traveler and I have never experienced a fraud like this in booking a hotel! So disappointed! We tried to search for 5 stars hotel in the area and we paid for a 5 star hotel! However, we went to a motel instead of even one star hotel! It is a renewed house and clean place! But there are many drawbacks: It is too far from downtown, almost the worst location of the city. There are no facilities in the room! No refrigerator, no coffee maker, no locker, no tissue, no water etc (but they call it 5-star!!!) The beds and mattresses are old and uncomfortable. You don’t have access to wifi as well!!! Please take a look ate the review from Renee Grundy, that is from 2 years ago! All issues has remained the same and the owner just tries to keep continuing like this (he charges you for a five star hotel and gives you just an empty room to sleep). It is not safe as well, once you’re out of your room, someone gets into your room to turn off the AC! Beside all of these deficiencies, the cold water tap and toilet flash tank were not working probably!!!

And the last but not the least: If you leave a real review about this place, he is coming and says “you have...
