This is probably my favorite restaurant I have eaten in so far in Morocco! Itrane has seriously awesome dining areas, whether it's outside or inside. Choosing to sit inside was like taking the red pill and getting whisked away to an authentic Moroccan reality outside of the Matrix. My friend and I went there for lunch after visiting Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. The place is a gem, really characteristic, and the owner is so precious! He welcomed us with warmth and understanding, letting us make some variation to the fixed menu (we asked for a vegetarian couscous). We stumbled upon this gem as we were walking back to our car, and we’re so glad we did! It’s an absolutely charming place, with beautiful indoor and outdoor seating options. The food was spectacular, but it was the ambiance that sold us on the place. It was such a peaceful, nourishing, and fun spot, and was exactly what we needed after a long morning of walking.
