The staff is really friendly, and provided us with taxi from and to airport, personal guiding from Rcif to the hotel in the middle of the night, taxi guide arround the medina, even tagine cooking class in one of the best restaurants in medina (see my Soultana review). Breakfasts are quite simple and tasty, include variety of local breads. We have impression that the hotel's restaurant (quite well assessed) is not in function anymore. |Arriving at night, empty streets leading from Rcif to the hotel were full of garbage and did not look promissing. But they get cleaned overnight and the lively streets in the morning gave the atmosphere we were hoping for :) When you learn the main alleys to Rcif, Place Seffarine, Al Attarine Madrasa, you are ready to explore further by yourself, even to the Blue gates (Bab Bujloud) and beyond. |While the riad has been renovated to the point where it is clean and retains its authenticity, the visitor could benefit from improvements such as changing wet towels daily (and not just 1 towel per person would also be appreciated), adding a shelf to the bathroom, making the loud door bell audible only to the staff, there was no trash bin, also a kettle for boiling water (maybe one in the lobby) would be great. |Overall, we have been very content with the 4 day stay, and would recommend...
Read moreThe hotel is placed in the middle of the Medina. At first it was a bit overwhelming when we got there due to the chaos of the medina itself, however, Adil met us at the entrance of the medina and walked us through the madness. Room was excellent as we had the room on the first floor. When you walk into the hotel, you get shuttled away from the chaos on the streets into this beautiful space. We were greeted by Jalal and Mohammad who served us lunch and also showed us the map of where we were. Jalal arranged a walking tour for our first day and on our last day, we arranged a tour by car and off to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and the meal we had was very much the same. Hospitable people, very kind and goes out of their way to make you comfortable. Adil and Mohammed did this one night for us, when we wanted something different to eat from the menu. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat. Great location, worth your money, great and spacious room, clean and most importantly amazing customer service. Will definitely return. Thank you Mohammed & Adil, they made our stay exceptional, as they were always there with a smile on...
