As the name itself suggests the place really is hidden so make sure you can really find it. We used Google maps and it worked perfectly but the place is also very popular so locals and guides know about it. The staff here was really happy to see us arriving even though it was late and close to the closing time. Many pages say they close at 11 while they are actually open until 11:30. We ordered different types of mezes and tajines and were really pleased with the food quality as a group. One of our friends in the group is really picky and even she was pleased with the food. The atmosphere is nice and staff is attentive, the place appears cleaner than the average restaurant is Fes madina but also more expensive than average. The food quality was fine but nothung too spectacular and the same quality could be found elsewhere for lower price. We were served desserts and teas for free...

Main course of Tajine with chicken and plums was just a heaven in the mouth. Unfortunately for me it was not hot enough, if I have to remark something..
We ordered 2 wines that costed 44 Dirham (4.4 euros) for a glass which is a normal price for a glass of wine but we only got such a small wine glass that is usually for port wine. Bit too expensive compared to the food’s price.
Overall nice experience but a bit...
Read moreI discovered this by chance after wandering the streets and it offered perfect refuge in a quiet patio with fresh mint and greenery after the energetic, bustling Medina. I was delighted to meet Mourad who was genuinely kind, honest, and shared a lot of his culture, history, and experiences which was a lovely experience beyond just the food. As for the food, it was a fixed menu which has a different special everyday. With fresh ingredients, carefully chosen spices and prepared based on the market, I thought it was well priced for the array of accompaniments - every appetizer was fresh, delicious, and flavourful. I certainly could not finish and they kindly packed everything up individually to enjoy later. What was also helpful is that credit card is accepted but as anywhere else, tip is...
