Hotel Nandini — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

I stayed one night here yesterday because of an early flight on the next day. At first I was quite worried about the way to the hotel at night on foot because I know it can be really quiet (solo female traveler). However, there were other travellers on the way so it was perfectly okay. The hotel location is perfect, literally 5 minutes walk with two backpacks on from the international arrival hall. You just need to cut through the carpark and follow the road. Then cross the main-street to get to the other side and you will see the hotel gate, that is the main entrance. Just lock and the receptionist will open the door for you. ||The room is basic with a fan, towel, a double bed, shampoo, soap, toilet paper and a complimentary 1litre water. Showers was great, hot water was steady. Bed was comfy too. Overall the room was very clean. ||I had a good night sleep there. It can get quite cold at night so turn off the fan before you go to bed. ||Highly recommended to those who have a flight to catch on...

Amazing hotel! Yes, it's small and looks run down, but they have great wifi, clean rooms and bathrooms, and free water bottles. Futhermore, they helped me find an ATM when the one nearby didn't work, AND they picked up my luggage at the airport for me after the airport had lost my luggage and I wasn't able to pick it up due to trekking. Also it's walking distance from the airport. I walked to and from the airport twice to get here--it's only about a 2 min walk! And the staff was super nice! The hotel is very close to the Kathmandu International Airport. It is very good for back packers as it is down hill & 400 meter or 8 to 10 minutes walking distance from the arrival terminal of the airport. It is not an OYO hotel. However, you can book online of call the reception / front desk for more details / deals. Winter and summer room tariff are almost same. Some room have air conditioning & heating and some have fan.
