Himalayan Java has been my go-to coffee place since a long long time. Some branches are exceptionally good, but some just don’t meet the standards that some of their other branches have set. The TIA branch seems to be of the latter category. Don’t get me wrong, the coffee was decent and the staff seemed decently courteous. But when I ordered a Cheese Ham Tomato panini, they told me they were out of tomatoes and asked if those could be substituted with pineapples. I agreed to it. 15+ mins into the order and they told me they were out of pineapples too. So, I was served a sandwich without tomatoes or pineapples, and they still charged me the same amount for it. Making things worse, they took forever to get me my order, a simple sandwich. And the quality was really not up to the mark of food served by the Thamel branch, for instance.
