OYO 161 Ram Janaki Hotel — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

Myself with family had stayed in this Hotel recently during visit of Janakpur Dham, Kathmandu and again at Janakpur after returning from Pokhara. At Janakpur it is located at Ramanand Chowk- a prime location. All tourist attractions are within 3-4 KM from the hotel. Hotel is decorated with photos of tourist attractions and handicrafts of Nepal. Rooms are spacious, ventilated and equipped with Air-conditioning , Geyser etc. Chefs prepared delicious food with home like test. Reception & Room service was superb. At Kathmandu it is located in between Airport and Pashupatinath temple and suitable for economic stay. Owner Mr Shyam Kumar Mandal is a gentleman and caring person, running hotel business to serve people as family member. 'No' word doesn't exist in his dictionary. He had arranged our tour of Janakpur, Kathmandu, Everest experience flight, Bhaktpur, Patan and Pokhara at minimum rate. This property is terrible. Room is old and not poorly maintained. Door itself is very hard to open, curtains are not washed at all, bed linens have stains, and worst of it, toilet is clogged!
