Kusum Airport Hotel — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

Thank you for your response my earlier review which encourages me to come through this review as well. I would like to clarify a few points in light of the accusations made against me.

I have sufficient evidence and documentation to back up my claims, far more credible than the misleading allegations presented by you and your management. I was stayed at your property while I have fix the technical issue nearby your hotel, not for leisure or any party-related activity, as you falsely implied. You said ‘I was drunk which is fake as you’ because I am vegetarian and never smoke and drink.

Your claims and threats are entirely unfounded. Your attempt to distort facts and intimidate me only reflects poorly on your management. Truth and professionalism are not negotiable, and I stand firmly by my honest review of my experience. And ready to face all the consequences will come after.

I welcome any legal action you wish to pursue. I am confident in the validity of my case and look forward to the outcome. Please feel free —I assure I will use my rights , ‘where you say me silly yes I am to choose your Hotel’.

Your energy would be better spent addressing the genuine issues raised in my feedback rather than resorting to intimidation tactics. I hope this situation encourages your management to adopt a more constructive and professional approach in the future.

Review of Kusum Airport Hotel, Kathmandu

I recently stayed at Kusum Airport Hotel in Kathmandu, and my experience was extremely disappointing due to false promises and misleading pricing.

Before booking, the hotel agent assured me that my stay would include breakfast. However, upon arrival, I was informed that breakfast was not included, despite it being clearly mentioned in my booking confirmation. When I raised this concern with the staff, they showed no willingness to resolve the issue or offer any alternative solution.

Adding to the frustration, the hotel charged me three times the price listed online. When I questioned the discrepancy, I was met with vague and unconvincing explanations. There was no transparency regarding the additional charges, and it felt like I was being taken advantage of.

Beyond these issues, the overall service was unprofessional. Instead of addressing customer concerns, the staff seemed indifferent and uninterested in providing a good experience. The lack of honesty and accountability was a huge letdown.

I would not recommend Kusum Airport Hotel to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy place to stay in Kathmandu. Misleading customers and overcharging them is unacceptable, and I hope the management takes serious steps to improve...

I stayed in Kusum hotel for 3 days in March 2025. It's not very big but cozy, comfortable clean and with very hospital staff members. This Hotel is very close to Kathmandu international airport. I took several strolls to airport zone and back, it took just 20 minutes. In addition to one can reach the famous Pashupatinath site in 20 minutes walking by foot. There are reception, relax zone with sofas and low tables and zone for dining in the hall. It has even a small shop with Nepali souvenirs mainly made of rudraksha. You can pay both with international card (+3% tax) and cash for staying, meal from hotel kitchen and transfer. Hotel room I stayed was not big but clean and it had all amenities I needed. It had wood floor what is rare thing for hotels) Air conditioner worked pretty good, it warmed up the room very quick. However there was no hot water in bathroom and I had unstable wifi from time to time. Separately I want to mark hotel kitchen: all dishes I ordered from menu were fresh and tasty for good price. So if you need to stay in Kathmandu for not long period close to airport I recommend Kusum hotel with it's hospitality and responsive...
