T3 Thakali & Multi Food Gallery — Restaurant in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

I had heard a lot about T3 Thakali. When you have one at the airport it's more about representing thakali Thali as the first meal as you land in Nepal or the last meal before you go abroad.

When one of my friend had a late night flight the plan was to have a Thakali meal before going out. We inquired if the place will be open at 9:30. I was delighted when they told me it's open 24/7.

I got a first note of caution I got from the friend in a meeting before I went to the airport. He got a piece of Mutton bone in his dal though he had veg set. He is a strict vegetarian. I said probability, what are the chances of silly mistake happening again within a week.

When we reached there, it was good ambiance with people around at around 9:45. We ordered Thali for four people and beer.

First thing to notice, the beer was served in plastic glass. Phew....

The Thali came, the papad were not crisp, nor was alu bhujuri. We asked if they have fresh batch and then we again got the sloggy alu bhujuri. When someone is going out you don't want to create a big deal. When we asked for niguro ko achar ko refill... We got complimentary hair with that. Then we had a small talk with a manager who hesitantly with no emotion of regret but a mere formality.

When you are at the gateway of people coming in and going out, small things matter... Giving a better food and better hospitality...

Hoping to visit them again and see if they have improved...
