Such a scammers.

I'm an Indian and I stayed in the hotel on my first visit from 25th March 2025 to 31st March 2025. I came on a business trip, the receptionist (Boy), he charges the money as he wants. He had booked a can for me from Kathmandu to Birgunj and cost me 15000 NPR whereas the actual price is 9000 to 10000. They restaurant people were also providing the food which I had not ordered. If I order something they were giving me something which I didn't order.

Again I booked the hotel on 9th April 2025 and they gave me a room which had no basic facility like Mini cooler ( broken switch), broken tv without cable connection and they charged me 3000 for this room. The very next day I had my flight from Kathmandu to Bhutan for which I had already informed them to keep their vehicle ready as I had to reach the airport by 6am. They had not arranged the cab and after a long time they booked a private cab online which was costing 200+ but they charged me 500. As they delayed in giving the checkout summary the waiting charge had been automatically added which costed from 200+ to 300+. Whereas the receptionist who charged me 500 had paid only 200+ to the driver.

The staffs of the hotel are exceptionally courteous and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and memorable experience. Overall, it’s a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers, especially the ones departing or arriving at TIA. Though the hotel deserves 5 stars out of 5 for overall facilities, some works of renovation is suggested. AC, Sofas, bathrooms, broken electric circuits, etc are to be fixed or replaced ASAP.

Staying at Hotel Readers Inn was a very bad experience. The room was cramped like a cheap hotel, the toilet spray did not work at all. The AC was right above the bed, that too did not work properly. Internet did not work, room service was slow and expensive. The elevator was not working perfectly but the staff did not say anything. I could not understand how a hotel of this standard got a 3-star. The cleanliness was average, the towels were old. Food was good but its very pricey, both the service and facilities are disappointing. Cheaper hotels are also better than this. Find other options in Kathmandu, I will not recommend...
