This is an oasis in the heart of Namche Bazaar. Central to the area, it is big and has great service. The dining hall is warm, they have good wifi and the food is great. They often provide a welcome cake. Maya, who runs the place is just lovely. I’m always there with a group and she is so accommodating. Get the good rooms, which have hot water and even electric blankets and charging ports. The view from your room is sublime!

I stayed here totally 5 days, in two different times , within a month. Firendly people, nice rooms, and delicious food. Hoewever i am a real pizza lover and the pizza as mostly in Asia is sweet bread, it was also sweet bread but it was just okay. YOu can further have a good hot shower here for 400 rupies, and an electric heather which is on at the evening and even at morning by breakfast.

Great to have dry, not damp accommodation as most are wet on the route up the mountain with no change of drying clothes. This place is a heaven compared to others. But watch out of the swift lights out that happens around 9pm. Even though clearly instructed from the sign we were locked out and had to bang on doors for 20mins to get back in.

In March 2021 our group of 4 people stayed at hotel Namchey for 4 nights: 3 nights on our way to EBS and a night on return. The stay at this hotel was the best and most comfortable of the trip. The owner Maya and Manager Raju are simply the best. Their welcoming smile made us feel at home. They certainly have a magic wand up their sleeves. I say that because they no matter what we requested it was there in minutes.||The hotel has a nice décor. The dining hall is very spacious with a 24X7 electric heater. Most of our time outside of the rooms was spent there. The pictures on the wall truly made us feel like a celebrity. The food served was always fresh, hot, and delicious. Daal Bhatt is my favorite. I ate that every day for lunch. Thank you, Maya, for adding the variety of vegetables and Daal to make it over-the-top.||The rooms are open and very comfortable with a non-stop supply of running hot water. I loved the seating area by the window that provided an excellent opportunity of watching the sunrise. The heated mattresses on the beds are an excellent feature. Slept like a baby during my stay. The other luxury is an excellent service of internet. We had good connections all over the hotel. The quick laundry service is available and is helpful in a journey like this.||I must say once we reached EBC my sole mission was to get back to Hotel Namchey ASAP so that I can enjoy Maya and Raju’s five-star hospitality and company. If ever I am back in Namchey Bazaar, hotel Namchey would be my home...

It’s rare to find a place that captures your heart so completely, and this hotel is truly one of those extraordinary places that defies description. It exudes warmth, coziness, and beauty, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.||Spending weeks here feels like a dream; each meal is a delight, and the rooms are spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. I had the great pleasure of meeting Tsering, the owner’s daughter, who is undoubtedly one of the sweetest hotel managers I’ve ever encountered. Her welcoming smile instantly makes you feel at ease, and it's clear that she is greatly respected in Namche Bazar for her professionalism and dedication. Tsering’s ability to speak several languages means that every guest feels understood and supported, no matter their background.||If I ever have the chance, I would return here repeatedly. The hot showers are a genuine comfort, and the rooms and balconies provide the perfect refuge after a long day of hiking and climbing. This place truly feels like a home away from home.||Highly...

My nephew and I stayed at the Hotel Namche at the end of November as part of a custom trek along the Everest Base Camp trail. Our “deluxe” rooms were clean and very comfortable, especially with the heated mattress pads on the beds which made sleeping easy in such a cold environment. Hot water was generally readily available except perhaps first thing in the morning, which is understandable. The dining area was quite warm and cozy, and was an enjoyable place to take our meals or just sit with a hot cup of tea. Plenty of books available to browse through as well. The dal bhat was tasty, as were the thukpa and Sherpa Stew. Laundry service is available as well, which is a great little luxury on this trek. The only improvement I could think of would be to provide small space heaters in the deluxe rooms to help take the edge off the chill in winter. Highly...
