Pretty standard teahouse (100 Rs rooms), somehow expected better from a big town like Namche. Definitely felt like they were catering to groups and dealing with them through the guides, and weren't so enthusiastic about an independent traveller. Good laundry service turned around in about 24 hrs for 100 Rs per item, but otherwise own laundry not allowed. Just watch out for the friendly noisy (meow meow!!!) cat trying to steal your food! :) Also with an advantageous location near the top of town so you don't have to climb all the steps on the morning of your departure up the valley. Food was nothing tasty and overpriced. I know treckers who stopped there and went to eat outside (then be ready to pay 3000rup per night). Plus me and my husband eat for dinner different food and both felt very bad stomach. Tibetian bread for breakfast is impossible to chew!
