I stayed at this picturesque room for 2 nights on 1 & 2 Nov. Food I had Sherpa stew twice / masala tea / ginger tea (without milk which I didn’t know) / masala potato. all was good. Portion too big for me. V sherpa stew 650 RS masala tea 700 RS dal bhat is 900. Had shower for RS 500. First since 27 Nov and was easy to operate use. Room has view of namche downwards and thamserku mountain room RS 1000 per night shared. You have to climb on your left upwards to get there. It has open sitting balcony facing the valley on each floor there is basin and 2 bathrooms which has western toilets. Very well maintained Host is very warm. Service is quicker than what I have seen in the trail so far. Lunch room is no smoking zone which is comforting as porters and guides smoke heavy tobacco Didn’t regret staying here and will try stay...

Friends and I stayed at Nirvana Home in November 2016--both at the beginning and end of our Three Passes Trek. We felt lucky to have found such excellent accommodation. The facility is both sparkling clean and newly constructed. Many rooms have a stunning view of Thamserku and Namche Bazaar through large windows. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Tshering went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. He is friendly and engaging, and his father, Mr. Kancha Sherpa, is a resource for anyone interested in the Khumbu. After coming down from the Renjo La, we couldn't wait to get back to Nirvana Home--the best teahouse I stayed at in six weeks of...

I had a wonderful experience at Nirvana Irving. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and relaxing from the moment you walk in. The entire team is friendly and professional, and it’s clear they take pride in creating a high-quality experience for their guests.

Carly, the manager, runs a fantastic operation. She is attentive, approachable, and always ensures that everything runs smoothly. You can tell she genuinely cares about both her clients and her staff. Her leadership creates a calm and organized environment that makes the whole visit even more enjoyable.

Highly recommend Nirvana Irving for anyone looking for top-notch service and a peaceful, rejuvenating...

we loved our stay with Kami and Tshering at Nirvana home in Namche Bazaar. The room was sunny and warm, the beds very comfortable and clean and so were the shared bathrooms on the hallway !! We also enjoyed the food that was cooked for us. We had wonderful talks with our hosts and also met other amazing travelers here. Nirvana Home is also home to the last living member of Sir Edmund Hillaryr's 53 Everest expedition - Kanchha Sherpa, a friendly and chatty grandpa with lots of interesting history. They are running a non for profit organization in his name, to support underprivileged children with education and materials.

Stayed here for two nights at the start of the 3 passes trail and also a night at the end. It's a fabulous lodge. Owner is really nice and food is great. Great daal bhat! Amazing views from the lodge over Namche. Rooms face the sun so are warm. Great outside balcony and lovely dinning area. If you are lucky, you will meet the owners father who is the last surviving person of the main 53 expedition. His stories of that are great but also his stories of the area before the exception are very interesting. A wonderful lodge. Oh, and it has an awesome shower!
