I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience after being thoroughly disappointed. The food and atmosphere were good, but unfortunately, the service was far from up to par.

Let me start by mentioning that we were a party of two adults and one baby. It took 10 minutes for someone to approach us and take our drink order, and another 15 minutes before our food order was taken. Meanwhile, other tables were seated and immediately attended to.

What was even more frustrating was that it took exactly one hour for our food to arrive. During that time, we noticed other tables that had arrived after us were served before us. To make matters worse, the waitstaff passed by our table multiple times without making eye contact or offering to refill our drinks, despite us being there for over an hour and needing them.

When the food finally arrived, we were finally able to order some drinks. The drinks were brought out by the same waitress who had taken our order, which at that point had ignored us the whole time. She put the drinks down without a word and rushed off so quickly that she didn’t even take the empty glass and beer bottle from the table. It felt as though I had some sort of contagious disease.

Don’t get me wrong—I totally understand this is not fine dining, but I’ve never experienced such disappointing service before. In the end, I couldn’t even finish my meal because I was just exhausted from waiting.

Edit: In the response the owner wonders if we sat ourselves, and no, we did not. We made a reservation by WhatsApp for 3 after asking if they took reservations (because yes- we count the baby as a third since he's also taking up space) at 7:30 PM, to which we were about 5 minutes late but I had also texted to give a heads up. I understand you might have been to busy to see, so no big big deal. We waited at the entrance and were led to a table.

Regardless, I wish your business...

Don't let the ambience fool you. I was there on 06/01/25. They didn't have any appetizers aside from the cheese balls so I ordered that and burger medium done. The appetizer never came out. I checked on it and the waitress said she would look into it. My burger then came and it was the wrong burger but no one came to check on us so I had to walk the burger and fries in myself. They said they would fix it and then later brought the right burger but no fries. I asked about my fries they forgot to include them. They then brought the type fries I didn't order but decided to eat them anyways. Then we were reminded they close soon and at this time the cheese balls the came out which I sent back because it was too late for them. They did comp the meal which would have been fine but 2 hours later with nothing eaten in between, I became very sick and was throwing up for several hours with stomach cramps. There's plenty other burger places nearby I would go instead and the burger didn't...

I’ll give it five stars for the ‘gezelligheid’. I went here today with my family. I’m vegan. I wanted to get the Beyond Burger patty, but without cheese and other animal derived products. Apparently the burger buns have egg or milk or both in them, which is a pity. The girl said that they can do a lettuce wrap, but I’m not willing to pay 30 guilders for that. So I said that I’ll get the fries. She said that it’s fried in animal fat. It’s 2023 and people still do this? It would be nice to have the option for vegan bread, cheese, mayo and also fries that aren’t fried in animal fat. This way a vegan who’s out with their loved ones doesn’t have to feel left out. But also people who are lactose intolerant if the bread has milk in it. The staff is friendly, though and the...

Absolutely love Brgr Haus at Kura Hulanda Village in Curaçao! This spot has quickly become a must-visit every time I’m on the island. The burgers are simply amazing—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The wings are equally impressive, with just the right amount of crisp and seasoning. The service is always top-notch. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely make you feel welcome. What truly sets Brgr Haus apart is its consistency—every visit is just as great as the last. And let’s talk about the ambiance—chilled, vibrant, and full of life. The live music every night adds an extra layer of magic that makes the whole experience unforgettable. Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner or a fun night out, Brgr Haus delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!

Burger was 5/10. Nice bun, meat and cheese. I ordered THE DEUCE and unfortunately bottom of the bun was wet from pickles, almost no sauce and I had only one julienne onion. Big portion of fries, for me it was too big. I had a feeling that is fries with burger as addition, instead of burger with fries. Poor service, slow and doesn't care about customer, girls with tablets very harsh, only guy who served to us drinks and burgers was nice and helpful. But in general, this is really nice place, with lovely view and vibe. We will back for sure to see progress :) As a customer and experienced horeca person I would recommend to add house sauces for fries that people can choose instead of ketchup, more frozen butter to patties and on hot bun. See you soon!
