Martinborough Motel — Hotel in Martinborough Community

I stayed in this amazing place last week while I'm roaming around this small town.. Martinborough a place you must visit. I searched for few places to stay that night, i saw this budget option was available.They got few rooms which is absolutely safe, quiet and worth for the price. They've got family room and double room. If you're searching for a budget option this place is highly recommended. The room and bathroom are very clean. It has the basic amenities that you need for the stay. Tea, coffee, sugar, even salt and pepper, mugs & glasses are inside the room with electric kettle for you to have warm cup of coffee.. the room got its own TV, mini fridge, a small desk and 2 chairs next to the comfortable bed. The heater inside the room keep you cozy throughout the night. As the place is walking distance to eateries and the supermarket you don't need to be worry at all. If you visit this time of the year, you will see the grapefruit tree from your window. One night is not enough for the stay.. My girlfriend and I were stranded in this small town of Martinsberg or wherever and we needed a place to stay after climbing the pinnacles (from Lord of The Rings) at the National Park nearby. Luckily we found this motel where we were absolutely P-A-M-P-E-R-E-D. We booked last minute and the lady at reception upgraded us to the master suite. What a wonderful surprEEEZZZZZ. The room was cozy and came with heated beds and a TV that had cable. We watched MTV’s Catfish and it was an episode where the catfish turned out to actually be the real person. Anyone who watches the show knows that that almost never happens. Nev and Max are legends and I can’t wait to watch again....

I booked this hotel on March 2023 for a January 2024 reservation to attend a wedding. Received a confirmation email upon booking. I phoned them 4 days out from the wedding to re-confirm and they told me the booking does not exist, I have no room booked and that there is no availability now. I had zero notification and it still says I’m confirmed from my end. Apparently because it is over a long weekend I needed to book 2 nights minimum. If I had known that I would have happily booked two nights. Seems like they cancelled mine to make more money! Earlier notification would have been appreciated when the hotel cancelled our reservation. DOUBLE CHECK...
