We were a group of 4 adults 2 kids and 2 toddlers. The cafe was very busy when we arrived but the gentleman was able to accommodate us and did so very quickly. Staff: again manager was super helpful got us booster seat for the little toddler and extra chairs. Female staff member took our order and no problems. Food: you won't be disappointed! I had French toast which was amazing!! Others had smashed avo with sliced cherry tomato, Chicken waffles and scrambled eggs. Kids had cheese scones which was a hit. Lastly we got two yoyo biskets to take away which were delicious (crumbly but yum!) Coffee: delicious and they know what they are doing . Foam was perfect on the cappuccino and latte. Everyone loved there's. There is a reason the locals come here! Atmosphere: great warm feeling and cafe buzz without feeling too big or too small. We were seated next to the log burner which on a cool day was perfect. Seating was comfortable and tables are decent sized to fit all dishes. There is outdoor seating Overall we would definitely be back when next in Martinborough and a must visit if ever here.

I am severe Ceoliac and the chef chose to come out and explain their process to avoid x-contam himself. I chose the Buddha Bowl and as they served it the chef came out and quickly took it away as they had put a soy dressing on it that had some gluten. They re-made it immediately and the end result was delicious and the food that passed our table looked amazing . Lovely outdoor area and lots of space inside. Fantastic Cafe, Manager, Chef and Staff. Popular with the locals we spoke to in the Cafe which is always a good sign. Love love loved the food. 😋

I always try to go to this cafe when I visit Martinborough. Lovely arty interior decor and vibe, great coffee and tasty food. I had the Buddha Bowl which was so divine using fresh vegetables and beautful house-made beetroot hummus and tahini. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of the dish. Also had the most amazing salted caramel slice from their counter. But what made this particular visit excellent was the lovely friendly customer service we received from the owner's daughter. She was so lovely, interesting and chatty. Highly recommended.

Will be honest - the first girl that served us didn’t seem clued in about customising our order. For example, we only drink decaf and she mentioned they were out of that - we opted for a normal coffee but with less than a single shot. She seemed confused on how to relay that information and we got single shot coffees when there are definitely work-arounds. Secondly, I had asked for a side of cheese with my eggs and toast but same girl said “she would have to check this” - she ended up not sending the order through and miscommunicated to staff all of this - even though this was a very simple and doable ask and I don’t understand why even though she had written down our orders - it did not go through as though it never existed. Near 30 mins went by and our coffees were cold and no food had come.

This rating is for the Indian man (seemed like a manager or very experienced staff member) who was told of this situation, profusely apologetic and did not charge us for the coffees and replaced them free of charge with hot ones. He made sure our food was exactly what we ordered and of top quality, he de-shelled the eggs of my breakfast when he noticed I was struggling, kept apologising and trying to find ways to make our experience enjoyable, also sent us back with free cinnamon buns. Thank you very much for salvaging our experience there and we will definitely come back to enjoy your excellent service and genuine commitment to...

I came in a few weeks ago. I sent a private msg of this situation via messenger, the msg got read but I got no response which I think is very poor. Here is the msg I sent: Hi there I just wanted to give some feedback. My partner and I had breakfast today and the food was really delicious. The guy who served us today was ok however I did get a bit annoyed. When he told us about the specials he didn't acknowledge me at all. He just spoke straight to my partner. I thought that was a bit strange and asked my partner "is it just me or did he completely ignore me?" my partner said yeah he definitely just spoke to me. Then at the end he came to ask how the meal was but again didn't ask me and just asked my partner 🤔. So when I went to pay he served me I told him the food was great but gave him feedback about this situation. He didn't want to acknowledge it at all and was adamant he was addressing the whole table (he didn't). He obviously isn't aware he did it so I just told him to be a bit more aware of it and to not just address the Male of the table. Possibly it's a cultural thing but it just comes off as really rude. I will still visit again because we loved the food but I just wanted to give...
