Frankie & Hugh's BnB — Hotel in North Island

Lovely views surrond this property which is set to the side of Marlene's own home. Unfortunately never met Marlene as it was her friend on hand to greet us and dare I say what a lovely lady she was indeed. Marlene is s lucky person to have such a friend around to help. We only needed the one room but this place could easily accommodate six people comfortable with two double rooms and one bunk room. Kitchen is tiny but as they say perfectly formed with all you need. Appreciated the bacon and eggs for us to use we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast that day! Shower great with a mirrored bottom in steel very interesting :) . Log burner was a delight with oodles of logs at our disposal. Great place if your into skiing and outdoor activities we on the other hand were merely passing through and on to Wellinton so as a place itself Ohakune didn't I feel tick the boxes for us personally unless you've a liking for 'Carrots' as we weren't sure what all that was about either ~ but they seemed to hold some relevance to the townsfolk as there is a giant one near the children's park to greet you. If you are into skiing on the mountain, cycling the bike trails, or love walking the tracks make sure you visit Ohakune and stay at Frankie & Hugh's B&B. It is surrounded by views of Mt Ruapehu in a setting with a running stream and rustic surrounds. It has three spacious bedrooms, great kitchen and bathroom facilities, an ever running wood-burner to keep you toastie warm, private and quiet surrounds and an owner who will make sure your stay is ideal. This place is very comfortable and generous. There was a lot of room both indoor and outdoor. The person running this place is so kind. The rooms were all put together very well and it was very aesthetic. There were pretty hanging lights and a cozy fireplace. There were also board games for guests and toys for small children. I am allergic to a lot of things and usually when I enter a hotel room I get allergic to something in the room and I get a blocked nose etc. however, in this room this didn’t happen so I highly recommend this place to everyone, especially people with...
