Got lured by the big sign post saying: all you can eat buffet for 250kr including dim sum, crispy duck, sushis. Turns out crispy duck is a la carte and dim sum and Sushi are in the buffet from 17.00 Small kids like my 7 year old are charged 149 for the buffet but my 10 year old would be charged 250. So instead we took some char siew bao (3 for 95kr), pork ramen 165kr which were made with instant noodle but a surprisingly good lobster and noodles for 275kr. The chicken wings from the buffet are delicious too. Nice decor and loungy music. The kids loved the aquarium and the size of the restaurant

Found this Chinese resto in Oslo from Google so we decided to try. At the first time we came, we ordered Seafood, Beef, and Chicken with Chilli Sauce served in Iron Pot, and Grilled Duck Breast with Pancake, Leek, Cucumber & Hoisin Sauce. The Iron Pot dish was nice and ingredients were fresh. Grilled duck breast was good too and meat was tender. Portion was sufficient, service was standard. Since it’s good then we decided to visit again for the second time. We ordered exactly the same menu. But this time it was a bit disappointing as the kitchen forgot to put the scampi and scallops inside the Iron Pot. This ingredients were brought later by the waitress to put inside the pot. And when we tried the scallops it was not fresh (tasted bad/fishy/old). Then we didn’t eat it and put it aside. After we finished eating the waitress came and asking how’s our food today and when we told the scallops wasn’t fresh she was shocked as if she didn’t accept our feedback and didn’t believe us of what we were saying. It’s really disappointing responds. If you don’t accept criticism, and only accept compliments, why in the first place you are asking customers feedback on the food? Doesn’t make sense. If the ingredients were fresh then why we put it aside? As we paid expensive for the food. The Iron Pot costs 295 NOK. And for the Grilled Duck it was okay but the pancake was very dry and stick to each other. Anyway it was good experience on the first time, but not the second time.

This is the first time I've actually ever put in the effort to write a review. I went to Honsan for the "all you can eat sushi buffet". I went specifically for the sushi and ended up eating the Mongolian BBQ (reason why shown in the photo). If you're going for the Mongolian BBQ, I would give it two stars out of five. It was OK but compared to other Mongolian BBQ I've been to, the meat was tough and there was a lack of choices for sauce. Pictured is the sushi "buffet". It was a single plate, hardly ever refilled. When it was, it was a single roll which was actually pretty awful. It wasn't even rolled properly and fell apart while using chop sticks. If you want an OK-quality Mongolian BBQ for 250kr, you wont be too disappointed here. If you want a sushi "buffet", this place will leave you high and dry. Tip to restaurant: don't advertise "all you can eat sushi buffet" if this is what you're delivering. Total ripoff.

I had buffet. 1. Atmosphere-Not bad. 2. Food-Stir fry was good. The rest sucked. there were not many dishes. There were more sauce than the actual food. Dimsum sucked and even tried food were bad. The soup was nearly tasteless. 3. Service-English communication was almost impossible with some servers and the other server was simply rude. I asked to clear the dishes and the server looked at me sideways and said, "I will" I say that is simply rude. 4. Price-Way too expensive for the quality. 5. Cleanness-Not clean at all. I have decided not to go back there ever again.

It took about 20 minutes to get the food after we ordered. The staff was very pleasant and the food was quite good and was presented beautifully on the plate. There's also an all you can eat buffet. The local was quite nice with flowing water and nice furniture. The music kinda ruined the cultural feel as it was quite modern. More like an everyday restaurant than somewhere you go to treat yourself or celebrate. Toilets where very nice and clean. It also had scented candles witch was very nice. However it was missing paper for drying hands after washing.

A place for decent Chinese food :) It is far from gourmet, but still quite good. All the dishes with duck meat were delicious. The restaurant has plenty of space, the staff is efficient and friendly, the location is super central, and the prices are reasonable. Extra points to the place for being open during covid times, despite alcohol ban in Oslo, and having good deals for attracting customers. Worth visiting when in the neighbourhood.
