Pros: Excellent location, about a 10-minute walk from the souq and fort (and historical Nizwa) but also quiet enough to get a great nightā€™s sleep. Comfortable bed, great AC, fan too if the AC gets too cold. EXCELLENT WiFi in room 7- super happy I got upgraded me to this room as I had asked for powerful WiFi in order to work. Thereā€™s also a wonderfully grumpy Persian cat who I looooove. Also laundry is only 1 rial! Thereā€™s a supermarket just around the corner which is handy. Also a separate kitchen to put sundries. Cons: Combo showery and bathroom is never my favourite but the floor dries super quick with the hot weather. Can only pay with cash :(

It was a great experience. We only stayed for one night, reached late at night and were very tired. However, the staff was very welcoming and cooperative, we immediately felt relieved. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is a big shared kitchen for guests to use. Almost everything was available coffee maker, stove, kettle, fridge etc. Only microwave was missing šŸ˜‚ Location was also epic, only 2mins drive to Nizwa fort and souq. I would gladly stay here again

It was a great experience. We only stayed for one night, reached late at night and were very tired. However, the staff was very welcoming and cooperative, we immediately felt relieved. What a pleasant stay at Nima Guest House! Place is simple, but exemplary clean, with nice common areas to share with other guest and the truly friendly and helpful hosts. A fully equipped and functional kitchen will be available if you're happy to use it, I used to prepare myself excellent breakfast! Can't recommend this place enough, prive/quality is on the edge and you'll be right in the middle of the magnificent old Nizwa, one of the best spots in Oman imho. Close to taxi stand and bus station... but driver didn't stop when I was waiting for him, he passed by and I had to catch him a few kilometres away at Firw bus terminal where the bus has a break. My only bad experience in Oman was with this driver, but after 10 minutes wasted getting nervous, I felt the Omani relaxed and peaceful pace again....

We stayed at this guest house for a layover before our long journey from Dubai to Salalah. Unfortunately, the guest house we initially planned to stay at was already booked, but the host offered us another cozy and clean guest house nearby. It had four spacious rooms with attached bathrooms, except for one room that had a bathroom just outside the door. The kitchen was large and well-equipped with a stove and fridge. The neighborhood had a traditional Middle Eastern style, with narrow streets that allowed only one-way traffic at a time. This gave us a glimpse of how the old Nizwa used to be, calm and peaceful. The locals in Oman were friendly, and we'd like to thank the host, whose name we believe...
