Faletti's Hotel Lahore — Hotel in Lahore City Tehsil

Update: I just checked the other negative reviews and it is confirmed that the hotel service has deteriorated. There are other recent reviews indicating bad behaviour of staff and not providing complementary water. Below is my review:

This is a so called Executive hotel. The staff at this location is disrespectful, un-courteous, and have derogatory attitude. I stayed here for one night. On the bedsheet some flower petals fell from my wife's rose bracelet (gajra) which we did not pickup, considering that these are just flower petals. However, the petals left a mark on the bedsheets. Next morning, the front desk manager held us for 10 minutes at checkout, saying that they are waiting for the room service as there is an issue with the bedsheet. After few minutes a room attendant showed up with the bedsheet in a bag. While I was on a phone call, he gave the bag to my wife saying that you can take it home and wash it with bleach and you guys can use it. This is extremely perturbing, disrespectful, and condemnable behavior. Something, which according to them is washable, should never be handed to client with disrespectful remarks, especially in front of my other family members including our son who came in the morning and was sitting with us waiting for travel. This is extremely disturbing and disgusting behavior that the staff at Flatties had showed. The best they could have done is charge an extra cleaning fee. I have traveled across the world and never encountered such behavior. The price Paid 17.5K was for a substandard service with a room that was not fully setup. As I came to Lahore after almost 10 years, I did not know much. Later, I learned from friends, there are better hotels at a much reasonable rate and better service. This is not all. As the room was booked in advance, the front desk knew about our arrival but did nor prepare the room. They gave us the key card for a different room and the attendant checked us in a different room saying that the other room is not ready - you can come to front desk later to get the key to this new room. They should have immediately brought the key new room.

Anyways, we got the key and left for a family engagement. By the time we came back late night, there was no complementary water and fruit basket. I called the front desk twice to get these after 15-20 minutes. At that late hour, the room service wanted to come in the room and place it. No sense, that this is not the time to fulfil their service which they did not do it earlier. Also, something to note is that this so called executive hotel is not up to the executive standard. The hallway (corridors) to the rooms are extremely hot. They could have installed glass in archways and air-conditioned it for summer. It is a two story hotel (ground a first), there is no client and luggage elevator. Hence the hotel's top floor is not accessible for people with health problem - One will need to take stairs. Further, when we came back at night, the entire parking was empty, which means not many people were staying there. This is not a popular hotel may be due to location. Hotel's location is perfectly in the heart of city / next to Mall road and surrounded by some big names. Easy access to the key historic spots. Hotel itself is full of history being built in 1881. People like legendary Quaid.e.Azam, Eva Gardner, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and others stayed here at there peak times.

The hotel has a great mix of history, simplicity, elegance has good interior. Rooms are good and very well planned / arranged / decorated. Food variety and quality is great and a must taste one especially the soups and sweets side.

Hotel has amazing team to greet and assist the visitors / guests. Management itself is very cooperative and ensure the quality by their presence. The best feature is the effort put by top management for better client / guest experience.

Hotel entertains many locals & foreigners every day. Faletti's is a top choice for halls if you are planning for your big events like fashion shows etc. As they have 3 attached halls of 100' x 100' each which can be conn3cted with zero pillars inside the 100' x 300' area. I recently had to book and organize TONI&GUY's 10th Anniversary show; hotel management guided me through out by their day to day experiences which helped a lot to make our show a success.

Hotel prices for the room are reasonable comparing it to the similar / nearby hotels. During my multiple visits in November & December hotel Team especially Anjum sb and the amazing man Rizwan Butt gave a lot of their precious time, dealt is with quite good mood everytime and guided for things in detail. Even shared experiences to improve personal life.

I rate it as a must go place and especially when you love history and quality or need a guide to take you through things for a long lasting experience.
