Hotel Arequipa Center — Hotel in Arequipa

We started our stay in Arequipa at a different hotel. It was horrible. After searching for 3 hours we found Hotel Arequipa Center. The hotel staff was super nice. They were able to accommodate all 20 of us in short notice. The rooms were small, but their were private bathrooms. The first 2 floors had better rooms and bathrooms. There was hot hot water in the first two floors. The hot water was warm water on the fourth floor. They do provide breakfast, however we were never able to enjoy it due to tours. They provided towels and toilet paper and little bars of soap. If you are looking for a hotel that is ok and reasonable this is the one. It is not a 5 star hotel but very affordable. Please don't stay here. Awful internet. Overpriced. I stayed for five days + they cleaned my room, gave me toilet paper, and a fresh towel only once the entire time despite me asking numerous times for additional cleaning + hygenic necessities. The building is loud, old, and unkempt. The conditions are unlivable here. There is better internet in hotels for half of the price. You don't get what you pay for at all....

A principal qualidade deste hotel é sua localização: três quadras da Plaza de Armas de Arequipa. E voce só precisa caminhar reto, então, para alguém como eu que nao memoriza com muita facilidade ruas e mapas, foi bem fácil! Sobre o café da manhã, nao espere muito. Aliás, nos 13 dias que estive no Peru, TODOS os "desayunos" eram iguais, naquele estilo café da manhã continental: pão (parecia pão árabe), geléia de morango ou goiaba, água quente e várias opções de saquinhos para voce preparar um café, chá ou leite! e se tiver sorte, pode encontrar ovos fritos! Nada de frutas, queijos, biscoitos.. nada!!! Sobre os quartos, eram ótimos, limpos e amplos. Banheiro com água caliente (depois de 5 minutos esperando, é claro). Defeitos: o hotel não aceitão cartão!!!!! e não há elevador e o hotel tem uns 3 andares!!! sobre o custo-benefício, vale a pena, pois as diárias não são tão caras, considerando a localização e...
