We stayed about a week in this hostel during our stay in Huaraz. It was great. We arrived early in the morning on a night bus and Omar let us in at 6am. The rooms are simple but good enough. The only thing I'd say we're the beds which were not the most comfortable, but if you're not super picky, you'll be fine. They have great, hot showers. The kitchen on the top floor is very clean, bright and has a great view.
Breakfast was include and consisted of 3 options: bread with either jam, avocado, eggs. The bread was very tasty.
Omar was always very helpful and is very knowledgeable about all the different activities you can do in the national park. You can book tours at the hostel for a good price (some are cheaper than finding your own way to the places).
We did the Santa Cruz Trek and hired all the necessary camping gear at the hostel too: tent, sleeping bags, roll matt, stove, and pots. While we were away on the trek we were able to leave out stuff at the hostel free of charge (some other places charge for this!)
The internet is very good and fast and we could also wash clothes there (costs extra).
It's a little far from the centre, but still walkable. Good thing is that it's a quiet part of town.
