I really wish I could put a good review in but there were a lot of errors. First off I kept getting what'Sapp messages from one of the managers named Veronica in july for a September stay (I reserved in april fyi). Fyi they only take cash and want to charge you in dollars for everything.||She offered me some tours and a cab. Fair enough. The problem with this is that she kept bugging me every other week. Even the week before she asked me if everything was ok with my flight (how the heck would I know a week before). | I ended up going with the caral tour (which is another long story as we got swindled by the driver). And telling her I would get the cab on my own. When we got to the hotel at 11:30pm I got some really annoying news. It turns out that the kid at the front desk had given someone else our room (top floor balcony) and they had but us in the basement. I became upset and demanded a refund for the difference. He said that I would have to wait until management came in the morning. I told him that I would not out my vacation plans on hold for their error. He did more research and discovered that it was his fault. He begged me to pay the full price because the error would come out of his pocket. Slimey, no class at all. He kept trying to cop out of it and delay everything until the morning. Finally I got it fixed and the rest of my stay he gave me a terrible look (oh well).||The day we left their must have been a misunderstanding because I had said I would be back at 3:30 to get my things. I was going to use their phone to hail a taxi but for whatever reason I guess they had called one for me beforehand. I only had 40 soles and the driver wanted 50 but said he would take it this time only... well I did get what I paid for. The driver stopped to pee, get gas and had kind of a jerkish personality. Turns out he was going to pick someone important up at the airport and just gave us a ride on the way. He didn't even drop us off at out gate. He took us to the parking lot, let us get out stuff and tore off. This is a beautiful place, very safe but the customer service is not the best and they really leave a lot...

This has been one of the best stays. ||The service starts before you arrive.. you will receive a whatsapp message from the staff asking if you'd need any indication or a taxi to reach the hotel. So you are already in contact. ||Once you arrive, the staff (ALL OF THEM!) is super friendly.They take their time to explain everything and genuinely do their best to make you have a good experience. ||||We stayed 3 nights in total and in-between traveled to Cuzco for a couple of days. They were very flexible in allowing us to keep our luggage safe and beyond that, they helped us to locate a few papers we left by accident at the room. I contacted them as soon as I realized this in Cuzco. In half an hour they sorted out everything for me keeping these documents safe and calling back to inform. Well done guys! ||||The location is perfect, you are in the center of Miraflores, a few meters away from both the main avenue on one direction and to the express way (where all buses to Center Lima and other locations) on the other. ||||The hotel rooms are cosy. Downstairs at the lobby you have good ambiance. The premises are well decorated. ||||The only negative point I must highlight was the breakfast... It was alright but it could have been more generous and wish some more variety. ||||All in all, we were very satisfied and 100% recommend these premises to any...
Read moreMy son and I, while traveling in Peru, had an enjoyable two-night stay. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the Miraflores district was a wonderful area to explore. The area was that much more enjoyable due to La Casa del Viajero location in Miraflores. Only one staff member knew a little English and the shower was slightly warm both mornings. We didn't consider those two items enough of an issue to ding our 5 star review, because the staff went out of their way in other areas. They arranged parking for our rental car, a block away, in a safe underground garage, at no additional charge. Not to mention many other niceties.
