Café et Chocolat — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

This small cafe is absolutely perfect. I have so many great things to say! I lived in Miraflores for 6 months and spent a lot of time doing work remotely on my laptop. Some days I would spend hours (like up to 7 hours) doing work here and never felt unwelcome for staying too long (of course I would order breakfast lunch and dinner from them throughout the day). Aesthetically pleasing, super clean, awesome service, reliable wifi. The one male barista does beautiful latte art. The desserts are laid out in such a presentable way. I love that its a small enough space that you feel like you just walked into a living room for a coffee and cake. The staff here are extremely pleasant and attentive. It's located on a calm enough street to feel relaxed. Can you tell I really miss this place?

My favorite breakfast was the yogurt with fruit and granola. My favorite lunch/dinner was the quiche with side salad. and of course I had to get the carrot cake EVERY TIME. And the smoothies are yummy!

Oh I also ordered food here through UberEats several times and they packaged it really well.

The only thing I wish this place had (as a Japanese/American) is iced coffee. Once I asked if they could do iced coffee and they tried (which I very much appreciate) and basically it was the french press with ice, which didn't really do it for me. There were times I was craving just a black...

Really disappointing to be recommended a place, and then having a bad experience. Firstly, the red velvet cake was 5 stars. It was delicious. What really bothered me was my coffee. It was the main reason I came here, and it was horrible. I ordered a latte, and it looked like an instant coffee in a cup. No froth, cream, quite literally looked like milk heated in a microwave. It also tasted off. I had to double check it was actually oat milk, they assured me it was, but if that was oat milk, then do not come here for oat milk as it did not taste right. For the same price, for the same coffee at starbucks, this was truly a waste of money, and half the size. Also, the fact I had to pay an additional 3 soles for whatever milk they gave...

Me second time here during my vacation from the USA. Some of the nicest people I’ve met. Most importantly the coffee and food here are so delicious. I came for breakfast twice and got the same thing each time.
