Our experience at the Radisson in Lima was better than expected and a great overall stay. The hotel proved to be a fantastic choice for our family, including our toddler.||The staff was incredibly accommodating, and the hotel's family-friendly features made a big difference. Our toddler loved having space to run around the room, and the low windows were a great touch, allowing him to observe everything going on outside. The bathroom was perfect for us; the classic bathtub/shower was ideal for washing the little one, and the drawstring hanger was a small but very useful feature for hanging up wet clothes.||The breakfast experience was a major highlight. We were able to enjoy a wonderful meal with our entire family, and they even had a seat ready for our toddler. The location was also very convenient for us, with an important appointment just a short distance away.||I was also very impressed with how the staff handled my loyalty status. While there seemed to be a bit of a lack of knowledge on tier levels during check-in, the following day I was given a late check-out, and the team explained that it was a courtesy due to my higher tier level with the hotel chain, which I greatly appreciated.||The hotel’s excellent service continued even after we checked out. We realized we had left a charger behind, and when we called, the staff quickly located it and arranged for its return to us. This honesty and helpfulness was greatly appreciated.||Overall, it was a very positive and comfortable experience. We would highly recommend this hotel, especially for other families traveling with...
Read moreLocation Good location near the beach and near Kennedy park. A range of restaurants and bars are nearby.
Food and drink The rooftop bar is a great part about this hotel. There are a range of drinks available, that are well priced. Breakfast was included with our room rate and there is a small continental selection and then a large menu to choose from to order, this is quite nice. However, we had to queue for breakfast and then the service wasn't good, they didn't give us a menu and it was quite nice a confusing experience!
Service The check in process is slow, the person on check in didn't tell me she was pre authorising my card so I was surprised when money left my account. On the second day our cards stopped working and when I went to reception they said it had fixed, it took two more trips to reception and then the receptionist had to come and reset the door, not a good service considering the price. The concierge, door staff and rooftop bar staff are very friendly. The lifts are very small and there was often quite a wait for them. There is a very pungent smell of air freshener in all of the communal areas.
Room and facilities There is a pool and sunbeds and a large gym available on the rooftop. The room was spacious but quite empty! The bathroom was very dated but functional.
Overall a fine hotel but there's others half the price nearby that would offer the...
Read moreVery bad, almost fatal experience in the elevator.
On December 25 I wanted to go to the Radisson‘s roof top bar with a group of friends. The elevator got stuck. A horrible high pitched sound alerted us and everyone in the vicinity about the malfunction of the elevator. As nobody from the hotel staff could help, due to lack of an emergency/incident manual and I guess simply incompetency one of us called the firemen. Upon their arrival the hotel staff (security man) and the receptionist did not permit them to help/modify the elevator door with force. My cousin got a panic attack and was screaming for help as she thought she would suffocate. After 32 mins my husband could finally push the door open with his bare hands. The hotel staff‘s resction was neither helpful nor competent. They offered us a bottle of still water but did not care any further about this incident. In social media it can be read that this was not thr first time an elevaor got stuck, and as in our case, no help provided from the hotel staff. A hotel belonging to a world wide chain of lux hotels SHOULD have a emergency/incident manual and all staff members SHOULD be instructed how to follow it in such events. Very, very poor performance of the hotel...
