Stayed here 4/24-4/25. Loudest Hotel I've ever stayed at and I've had ppl doin the nasty next door on paper thin walls in other hotels. At least they finish after 15 minutes. The unbearable noise NEVER stops in this hotel.||||Came here with an educational tour group (if you're reading this and are part of a group from this educational tour group company and are booked at this hotel for an upcoming trip, call your Tour Consultant NOW and avoid this hotel at all costs. We were on the 3rd floor and EVERYTHING that is happening on the 1st floor breakfast area is deafening starting around 3am as they set up for breakfast. They serve breakfast very early and a group of french travelers ate breakfast starting at 4am and we could hear every wood chair moved across the hard floor, every fork clanking against a plate , every word said by every member of the french tour group through the open stairway 2 floors below. ||||Once again, this is the loudest hotel I have ever stayed at. Read moreOur room faces the train. Yesterday after dinner our room was full of the fumes from the train. We couldn't close the window. The front desk sent an individual who couldn't fix it either. Last night I realized the shower was missing a door. Mind you the one by the shower and the light bulb on top of the sink had blown. Early, 6 am, i told the front desk and asked to have it fixed. What she asked me was if I was leaving. Most people only spend one night. I said no and asked to please fix it. I didn't want a bathroom full of water after my husband and I take a shower. After we got back from Machu Pichu and checked the room, they had done nothing. We told them again and went to eat. When we got back everything was the same. They don't care about the hotel or their guest since most stay one night. ...
Read morePros:||1. My train arrived almost 2 hours late. Hotel representative was standing with my name tag at the hotel. ||2. Check-in was fast. ||3. Hotel is 5 minutes from the train station walking.||4. Breakfast is OK.||||Negatives:||1. Hotel staff spoke no English. Communication was a challenge.||2. Room was dirty. Bed-sheets has stain. There was dead insects inside the bathroom. Bathroom linen was dirty. Bathroom mat had dirt stains. Seemed like bathroom was just dried up from previous visit.||3. Hotel safety box did not work.||4. No soap and toiletries in bathroom. When asked at the front desk, we needed to play sign-language game to communicate what was needed.||4. Noisy and smelly.||||My recommendation is that there are other hotels in the area. Avoid this and see if you can find...
