Hotel Ruta Amazonica Machupicchu — Hotel in Machu Picchu

We were a group of 9 people and we were directly proposed a very good price for 3 rooms. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and new linen. The breakfast was great as well and the hotel is close to everything you need. During our stay, Lizbeth was the sweetest and most amazing person I have met in Peru. We woke up very early to climb the Machu Picchu, she woke up to make sure we were able to get breakfast. The beds were clean.

The room did not match the description at all. It had two beds, but there was no separate living room or dining area as advertised. When we asked about it, the staff told us that the "living room" and "dining room" referred to the hotel lobby. This is completely misleading and feels like false advertising.

While the location is convenient, I cannot recommend this hotel unless they update their listings to reflect the reality of what guests...

El hotel tiene buena ubicación, casi al lado de la línea del tren. El dormitorio estuvo bien para 2 personas pero hubo detalles: no había shampoo ni secador de pelo, bajé a consultar porque se supone que los incluía. El chico de recepción sólo me sonrió, le consulté de nuevo y sin decirme nada se puso a sacar un secador y me lo pasó. Le consulté de nuevo porque quería saber si me iban a cobrar extra y me dice: "se nos olvidó poner" y me pasó 2 sachet de shampoo... la rato me di cuenta que tampoco pusieron jabón de mano en el dispensador, pero no dije nada. Al otro día llegando de Machu Picchu, tampoco hicieron aseo al dormitorio ni pusieron más papel higiénico ni nada... SI ES QUE había que avisar, no nos dijeron ni sale en las instrucciones del cuarto, así que supusimos que harían aseo y pondrían más papel como lo hacen en todos los hoteles y hostales, pero no. El baño tiene poca ventilación, la ventana da al baño de otro dormitorio... el de otras hab incluso daba a la escalera si se podía ver hacia el interior. El agua caliente estuvo bien El desayuno estuvo ok, unos panes, té, café, mantequilla, mermelada y frutas (plátano y naranja). Sólo fue el mal servicio el que cayó mal, no lo recomendaría...
