Inkas Dream Machu Picchu — Hotel in Machu Picchu

We stayed here because this was the hostel our trekking company booked for us in Aguas Calientes so I have no idea how expensive the room itself actually was. A little hard to find tucked away in one of the side streets. The people who run it are really very friendly and quite nice.

Water pressure and temperature were amazing after 5 long days of hiking. The location in AC is just neutral, it's a pretty small town. The negatives for us were the room was a bit small so all our gear took up lots of space.. the other issue was the noise. Most of the rooms have thin sliding glass windows that face the courtyard where the stairwell is.. so basically you hear everything while people come out of their rooms, walk up and down the stairs, tell drunkenly at 1am or if a child starts crying in the middle of the night.

We got up at 4am to go to Machu Picchu and felt awful dragging our suitcases down the stairs because we knew everyone in the hotel...

Was placed into this hostel by a travel agent (who is likely friends with the owner). It feels less like a hostel and more like you are sleeping over at someone's house. The owner sleeps on a couch at reception, and the place is filled with more family members than guests. ||||The rooms are reasonable but they could really do to buy better pillows, as they felt like pieces of paper. ||||At the right price (very low) this may be a good option, but it's difficult to recommend in its...

Nous avons était arnaquer par un bureau d’excursion pour la visite du Machu Pichu . Nous avons était envoyer dans cet «  hôtel » . Mauvaise odeur à la réception . Pareil pour le repas qui était compris dans notre package on nous a envoyer dans un restaurant médiocre où on avait le choix entre des pattes à la sauce tomate ou de la soupe au champignion pour les végétarien ! le restau était à deux pas de l’hotel . Le lendemain nous devions partir tôt au Machu Pichu départ à 5h15 le ventre vide car le déjeuner n’étais pas prêt ni de lunch box. Le wifi capte mal . Pas de chauffage il fait un froid de canard. Toutes les fenêtres des chambres laissent l’air passer . Le sèche cheveux doit être louer à la coiffeuse de à côté’ . ||Lorsque nous leur avon fait part de notre mécontentement concernant leur partenaire ( le bureau d’excursion son nom : sul america sélect travel nom du mek roberto ) la patronne de l’hôtel n’avait pas l´air surprise que l’on Ce soit faite arnaquer . ||En rentrant du Machu Pichu nous avon demander à louer la chambre de 12h à 19h , son fils nous a fait payer 40 soles en nous disant que normalement c’etait 80. On nous a demander sur un quiproco de libérer la chambre à 16h . Nous avon réussi à négocier en disant qu’il était convenu de libérer la chambre pour 19h et non pas’ 16h . Bcp d’arnaque à agua...
