The manager of this hotel is a star. It is impossible to articulate her kindness. Through phone calls, she coordinated with her contacts & helped us with our journey from Lima to Aguas Calientes (AC). She ensured that we had drivers who safely transported us to hotels en route in Cuzco, while staying in touch until we reached Aguas Calientes. Guido & Maribel were amazing and gracious hosts. They own the place & made our trip so special. Starting with letting us choose a room & offering to guide us through Machu Pichu Circuits. Guido is guide & is familiar with the landscape and history. I'll be grateful for Maribel's heartwarming gesture on my daughter's birthday, she surprised her with cake & flowers. Maribel ensured that we had vegan options for breakfast. Our stay was comfortable & enjoyable due the hospitality of Maribel & Guido. Views from the hotel are stunning. Hope to be back soon.

Pathetic place. Arrived late for a very short night, we did not get hot water, front desk came to check and walked all over the bathroom with dirty shoes. Manager guido was called, and fixed the hot water problem after 1 hour and many arguments (customer service mediocre). Bathroom was then “cleaned” by the front desk later, just wiped with dry towel, no detergent used. As welcome in your room you can find a toilet paper roll on your bedside table and hair dryer on the other one! Curtain shower is so short that the water run everywhere in the bathroom while you shower. No soap offered, only conditioner! They did not pack any breakfast like most hotel do if you leave early!

We met Maribel upon arriving who kindly suggested her hotel, after dinner and searching other options we decided to reserve at NaturaLodge. We had a great stay, the music from the square was inaudible against the soothing roar of the river. Honestly some of the best sleep ever. Comfy clean pillows and bed. As for the simple brekky also great, similar to what we would eat at home. Yogurt, fresh fruit, granola ect. So welcome after a week of travel food. Great stay!

I’m a torn on this hotel. ||On the one hand, the service was fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful and were great to deal with. ||On the other hand, the photos of the hotel do not match most of the actual rooms at all. The rooms are extremely barebones and there are gaps between the windows and walls that you can see daylight through, the views were non-existent, etc. the door barely locked and could easily be forced, the windows didn’t lock, and it was extremely loud in the room. The photos vs reality is pretty much a bait and switch. I’m not sure if it is still under construction or renovation or what, but the rooms are absolutely nothing like what is depicted in the booking photos. I did walk by some rooms that appeared to be nicer, but the room we were given (and the several I saw next to ours) was not great at all. ||Additionally, there is no indication on the booking page that you will need to climb 60ish steps up a hill to the hotel. This wasn’t an issue for me but if someone wasn’t aware or unable to make the climb this could be a nasty surprise. We didn’t know this was the case until they sent us an email letting us know the day we arrived. ||Honestly I’d have given this 1 star if the service wasn’t as good as it was. Looking at other reviews, it appears one other person had our experiences but others didn’t. Perhaps it’s luck of the draw with the rooms but be aware that not all of them match the photos at all. For not much more money you can find other accommodations in the town that...

This is amazing lodge in great location and beautiful mountain view! Can you believe they have hot tub in the room as well? And beautiful blanket with Inca pattern, what I love the most is the staff here really help me to solve my Machu Picchu ticket problem as I didn’t receive it in my email, they called organizer of the website and people in charge, that time was 10:30pm,they help me for one hour and my ticket just come out at 11:35pm before the next entrance day ! Amazing!!! Btw the breakfast was the best I tried, because avocado and eggs was so fresh and local made with their good espresso coffee! Everything made by heart! They even prepared my breakfast at 5am because my bus to macchu pichu was 5:30am! Which was never happened even I was in 4 stars hotel! I can’t say more about how I enjoy here! I will...
